VANQUISH #70
A 2 or 3 Playlist Event showcasing the newest and most innovative Last Team Standings that the GCCC and Affiliates have to offer, with an optional Xtra playlist closing out the night.
Each Playlist will consist of 4-5 jobs, and we'll aim for two Matches consisting of quick-fire rounds, whilst the rest could have the possibility of becoming a little more drawn out. Matches will be played first to 2 or 3, depending on recommendations, consensus and general exhaustion levels.
#VQ
HOW TO JOIN
Crew pre-lobby will open at 8:30PM with invites and reminders sent out periodically. A PS4 Portal Party will be hosted by Hephaestos76 and rzasman.
Invites for the first playlist will go out at around 9PM GMT, giving you five to ten minutes to join. Check your phones.
Vanquish Rules and requirements
The usual rules for Crew lobbies will apply, so let's not be killing each other until the event gets underway (unless a Freemode Event demands it). Please ensure you are not wearing bulletproof or motorcycle helmets (or bandanas) as these both can confer an unfair advantage within jobs. Finally, please remove invisible or glitched clothing whilst participating.
Submissions should be made to the Vanquish topic in the PS4 Share tab, here on the event page, as a PM here or on Social Club OR merely by adding the Crew Event Tag #VQ to their job description/ details.
Members can submit two of their own creations per month and any number of creations from other crew members.
When selecting jobs for the event, priority will be given to creators who regularly provide feedback/reviews of other people's jobs.
The optimum size for submissions is for 30 people, but some smaller jobs may be considered for bonus rounds/ playlists, if circumstances and demands allow. I will endeavour to test all submissions before each event, so worth considering the minimum player requirement too, as jobs where minimum is too high (more than 4?), may be difficult to get enough players to join (the test).
Please include a brief description with any special settings you think should be applied and the number of players (min + max). Innovation, whether new ideas or new takes on old ideas, will be rewarded with inclusion in the playlists.
When setting up your LTS, make sure the round length isn't too long. Consider how much players will want to stay if they die in the first minute and have to watch for a further nine (or more) minutes. Preferably the rounds should be set to five(ish) minutes - rarely more than 8 minutes, unless you only want it played to 1 round. A 15 minute-per-round LTS will likely only be played for one round, 6-8 minute rounds could be played to best of three (set to 2 rounds), whereas 5 minute rounds could be played to best of five (set to 3 rounds).
Reviews are welcome here, but NOT responses to constructive feedback - I will request that such responses be removed. Please discuss your jobs in PM's with your reviewer.

$$$ COPS 2 $$$ by garsonthecreator
2 teams battle it out at the prison, starting on rooftops at either side and having a selection of weapons and a few weaponised vehicles to use. Weather is Thunder by default and cops are on, so you are instantly wanted and have to deal with police helicopters and on-foot patrolmenmuch of the time as well as the opposing team. Weapon placements are similar but not identical with one side getting more powerful sniper rifles and the other more powerful explosives. The combination of the weather, cops and subsequent explosion did create a little lag and one or two blue screens, but this could be helped by changing the default weather.
ØZ Battleships II by Ozzy
Not really battleships, because you can see where the opposing team is, but in my opinion the most fun LTS of this name. One team gets Technical Aquas and can choose to go it alone or pair up with one person on the gun, while they zigzag through a course to get to weaponised flying vehicles to take out the other team, who all this time have been trying to take them out with Bombs dropped from Western Seabreezes. Fun and well balanced. Hopefully the vehicles at the end are restricted to the ground team only.
Barrage Survival by JC2-FAN-FOREVER
An adaptation of a caddy demo derby at the golf course, this time with weaponised Barrages and grenades and the map layout has been changed sufficiently to make it a fun and different challenge. Go it alone with just grenades or team up with two teammates on guns front or just find somewhere to camp - on the roof of the pavilion or outside the course accessible only via elevated roads. Fun with good replay value.
Clinically Oppressed by @hepheastos76
My own creation. Really tricky to get to grips with the Oppressor especially in such a confined arena, but that’s kind of the point. There are tunnels either side containing sticky bombs, so it is possible to get to the opposing team’s side without ever getting on a bike. The Homing launchers on platforms and in tubes up high, seem to be inaccessible so far. Any feedback appreciated.

A 3 team combat LTS with pistols and tear gas. Each team starts in their own box room, connected to a central small run n gun style arena. The door to the starting room is a take flight sign – so it opens and closes automatically and the walls next to the exit to each room have electric transformers sticking out so campers can’t use cover. It is possible for campers to prevail, but if they are the last players left, then a lot easier to kill them with tear gas. Great fun.
Flying Cars vs Miniguns by DlSBY
A great fun LTS that plays well with a full lobby, but seems a little OP in favour of the minigun team at least for the first few rounds when played with less people, especially as they have Heavy Snipers and a temporarily accessible RPG. However, it doesn’t take too many rounds for the Deluxo team to get to grips with the dynamics of the vehicle and to prevail if determined.
Das Boot [Kš] by k1ngstr0k3
A two team underwater demo derby with weaponised Strombergs. The cars have increased armour, so will take a couple of hits with homing torpedoes before they explode, which is great because they move incredibly slowly underwater. Nice build with some interesting depths and flanking routes to explore.Perhaps worth putting instructions for use in the description – not your fault, but ’s preference for different buttons to push to activate special vehicles is incredibly frustrating for many players.
PINK POPCORN #FIN by finatra
A 2 team battle with one team starting on a pallet platform with shotguns and the other team having ramp buggies and driving underneath a ring of tyres and fencings and through a load of vehicles that will be launched into the air destroying the pallets and sending that team on a short fall to the ground where they then must fight to stay alive. Once a few of the defenders have taken out ramp buggies, they will become like brick walls when the ramp buggies hit them, making it much harder to create chaos within the arena and more likely to get a blast to the face instead. As suggested at the time, it is possible to get knocked out of the arena and then use the tyre ring around it as a safe place from which one can shoot the drivers. I realise the set-up here was to enable them to get back in, but it does give the opportunity to capitalise on it and prevail.
Trump's Wall by sidecarmawk
A simple two team LTS. One team starts atop a wall with a selection of weapons and must prevent the other team getting to the other side of the wall using street blazers, motorbikes, a cargobob and a plane. The land vehicles have to try and get through a narrow gap which is barely accessible especially with the blazer. I assume you have to go into some kind of tumble and then the landing is incredibly tricky to survive too. Perhaps cars of some kind would be better – maybe open topped ones so their melons are visible to snipers. Once you get to the weapons, Valkyrie and other helicopters on the other side, both the helicopters and the weapons are out in the open too much. The helicopter can be destroyed from the wall and anyone getting into the cockpit sniped before it even takes off, while the weapons are within sight of the wall. Suggest using advanced options to make all of the wall one level, spread the spawn points and the weapon pickups along the length of the wall. Also extend the wall to either side. The plane gets over too easily, so perhaps put homing launchers on platforms reached by balance-bars to take it out easily and then make a hangar or two to put the Valkyrie(s) in – I’d suggest having more of these as they are not great against players who are not in vehicles – and maybe a hangar for the weapons too.
[K] TAMPA vs TAMPA by Kobi_Crew_LeadR
A two team demo derby with fully weaponised Tampas. Use guns, rockets or rear-fired mortars to take out the other team. Weapons can be found on central platforms, but you have to be confident of success to risk getting out of your vehicle, though it can be worth it if you do. Great fun and good replay value.
