Down by the River - juicy
A fascinating map and one of the rare ones that the main weapon is Combat MG. I didn't have the opportunity to get that RPG though, maybe the other team was dominating or I just was most of time trying to kill by the Technicals on the sides. These vehicles actually makes the job more balanced. Especially, when someone like me who is not familiar with using a weapon with high recoil could use one of these turreted vehicles. Just want to note out that there is a part of the waterfall appears on propped ground and I think you should remove/cover it. It made me fall so someone killed me.

A high quality job from the design, propping and weaponry aspects. The way the map is made is very interesting that you have to focus almost on every direction which makes it a little spawn killy, despite that, I find the default weapon the most suitable one for such a map. I was spectating this job so I don't have much to say about it. However, I think this should be 20 players job.

Distortion 2 - model
Was it everyone including me or the world was tilted? LOL! I liked the way you made these tunnels but I found the props used out of place. I liked more when some players from the two sides were trying to block these tunnels by balls. I enjoyed using technicals until I got my butt kicked. If you watch my stream, you'll find the dynamic tube can lift you up till you glitch yourself outside, shame on me I didn't try to explore that part

Touch Wood - hyjkd
Maybe this job is not my personal taste but I would like to say it's a great job. Props are hidden with the environment and seem to be natural propping. I liked the most the weapon choice, especially that suppressor/silencer attached weapon where lets the players give streaked-sneaky attacks like I did (watch my stream), or just use other pickups for more firepower.

Redwood Woodward - o_ManOfFire_o
I really loved that amazing propping out there. The map is actually bigger than what it looks which definitely helped you for placing those 60 spawn points. Despite the actual size, the map would work for 6+ players in my opinion. Another good aspect is using the natural stairs to help you create your map, the creative minds always try to use everything around them rather than dispose/remove/cover things. I don't know what to say but say it's a great job.

Gutterville - prototypetom
Definitely in my eyes the most worthy job for verifying. Although this job attracts people by its wonderful design and colours, the weapon choice with their placements location elevate this job even more. For instance, there is the risky RPG for you, the calculated Heavy Snipers placements, and the rest pickups where you want and need them. It's just a top-notch job.

Clear winner in my eyes, no offence to the other jobs. This deathmatch was just quality. The attention to detail was nice too, sorting out the water so we could run whilst colouring it in. The overall complexity was good too, and the ability and patience needed to create all of the sections and over head pathways, in addition to the well used colour scheme was just spectacular. I also found that the weapon choice was good for the size and shape of the map but I don't know why the pistol was included. A well rounded, multi ranged, open and tight map designed for everyone.

A solid build. Good choice of weapons and a well created map. Several lanes and areas as well as a unique weapon set out. Good amount of cover was used and placed effectively to give a very well flowing, fast paced game with a high number of kills. Propping and weapon placement was good as always. The sweeper was a good choice shotgun not to be overly strong against the mini sub, however I believe that this runs out of ammo too quickly. An overall good build, thoroughly enjoyed.


3. Touch Wood by hyjkd

Another amazing theme, is that a theme tonight. This is why I don't do jokes. I really loved the theme and how the natural structure of the mill took centre stage along with some well used props that looked well in place to suit the area. I enjoyed being closed in too, to force the play into close and long range combat because of the design. I believe that the weapon choice was good and optimised the ranges that could be used, and the spawns were used effectively to bring combat closer. The use of the roof and area under the mill also came in well.


4. Redwood Woodward by o_ManOfFire_o

It was so hard to pick the top jobs but having to choose between 3 for the vote was hard, but my vote goes to this. Good use of intricate propping, along with raised props and ground combat to give a balanced battle on the circuit. Weapon choice was strong, and the design of the overhead props was nice because they weren't overpowered as some can be. Felt like a close quarters map despite being average in size. I'm getting predictable, I like how the natural environment was used at times not only to save props but to add go the experience.

Down by the River by juicy

I've played this several times now, and it constantly does well. A true example of simplicity is best. Although it doesn't win my vote it was a great job, thus placement in best of with immense competition. The theme of the river was well optimised with the small waves coming through. I liked the use of the dirt paths, hills, cliffs and waterfall too. The MGs were a good, fair choice and the rocket was fun because of the competition that happened to get it. The cover propping was smart, with gaps not to be overpowered too. However the spawns didn't change and one team always had height. The only downside is that I feel the vehicles were underused, because of how weak they would be without a lock on. Maybe when the upgraded insurgent gets released with gunner protection it could be used.


Distortion 2 by model

This was very unique. I've never played the first so it was a first for me. Such an unconventional set up. Overall it was fun. The higher up players seemed to have a slight advantage over the ground players. The use of cover was added well and I feel that the weapon choice was good. The use of the moving tubes felt so tense in a standoff, but did interrupt play a lille bit for me. The use of the mixed train carriage tunnels felt very awkward to travel through but it was different. Oh yeah, the main feature. I found it so funny how the floor was tilted at such an angle, and how it was known in the lobby as a disco floor. Bright and unique. Just needs a few small touches.

Its camping discouragement, if someone decides to camp up on the top level, they'll run out of good ammo and find themselves under powered unless they move on or take a gamble on refilling the RPG's - they're something that comes more into play with 8-16 players, like the RPG's themselves. people are welcome to use the height advantage of the middle platforms, but the advantage runs out with their bullets. I could have put no ammo up there of course, but while i want to manage how the map plays, i'd rather encourage players to make a strategic choice themselves - a REALLY timid player might take comfort from the slower pace up there and accept the compromised weapon.
It's similar to why the snipers are right in the middle of the map, even tho they're not much use there. At the far ends of the map it forms two nice lanes to snipe down (see eyez vid) - but after 12 bullets or whatever it is, a sniper has to change up how they're playing at least long enough to restock.

First of all, thank you for your reviews!!

To the waterfall: it's meant to add an element of danger. I didn't want to 'tame' the waters completely, so getting close is risky - a bit of a local hazard - on purpose. I'm an admirer of untamed wilderness. 😎

Watching all the videos I saw saw very few people use ramps and other parts of building to get the advantage on the enemy most where just run and gunning maybe the props blend in to well at night time but I feel the map was under utilised for its true potential and the sniper on top of the smoke stack nobody bothered to climb but maybe some signage I don't know I feel it would take away from the theme to much
