New Commissioners and retirements
Every now and then it's worth taking stock of where GCCC's come from and where we're heading next. From a small community we've grown to a 2000+ strong group of creators spanning 5 consoles. Getting there wasn't always easy and required the tireless work of a set commissioners to organise the chaos. Like any growing organisation it's important to take stock and re-organise the ranks to keep things fresh. We'd like to pay tribute to all retiring commissioners who's hard work has made this possible and to the 2 new commissioner who, along with the current set of commissioners, will aim to grow GCCC to something even better!
New Commissioners
These brave souls have worked tirelessly to earn their new roles. They all put the crew before themselves. They host our events, share our best moments on YouTube and Twitch, test GCCC creations, write highlights from events, supervise the GCCC Verified competition as well as being good sports who help other crew members. That’s a lot of responsibility!
GCCC aims to be as inclusive as possible. If you’re looking to get that promotion, start up a unique event (or re-run an existing event with the current host’s permission), share some reviews and spread the positivity. Get involved in the diverse events we run on every platform – the playlists are made by the host but the action is made by you.
PS4 Crew
HiddenSaint27
New on the PS4 and promoted thanks to his efforts hosting "Killing Time" on the PS3. Already active in commissioner duties and with some excellent jobs I'm sure the new creator powers next-gen offers won't go to waste. Also has a new Youtube channel so make sure you check out what the newest member of the commissioner team is getting up to.
Xbox One Crew
VAKINGS804
The newest commissioner cog in the growing XB1 crew. Helpful with events, active on social club and the forums. A new friendly driving force to grow the crew even more and more than ready to deal with any more new arrivals to the crew.
Commissioner retirements
All of these have grown the crew to what you see today. They've worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure that all creators are welcome into GCCC. All their hardwork is much appreciated and without GCCC wouldn't be what it is today.
PS4 crew
Bellyfluff
Having made the leap to next-gen has now decided to take a break from the game so retiring from his commissioner role (again ). His efforts in commissioner discussions, and helping with events were particularly welcome, and he'll remain a well respected lieutenant.
mikezilla2
Having taken GCCC one-step nearer to global domination has stepped down from the role to continue his good work in a lieutenant role. We'd like to thank him for his efforts in commissioner discussions and co-hosting events.
Samcro_14
Another Australian taking the step down to lieutenant having run events on the PS3. We'd like to thank him for those efforts and am sure he'll be able to continue to influence things positively from a lieutenant rank.
Shaygmire (aka canucks)
Will certainly leave a lasting legacy at GCCC having run "Raceday Wednesday" which is still(!) ongoing, now on the PS4, as popular as ever. Has left GCCC.
Stronktank
New website co-founder, organiser of the #CreatorsUnite imitative, excellent reviewer and highly active behind the scenes - will be much missed as he takes his break. Has left to travel the Far East
PS3 crew
axe-nitro
Our likeable Chilean takes the step back to lieutenant in order to focus on his studies. Helpful in enforcing rules and friendly in events - am sure he'll remain a well respected lieutenant.
SACHMATA
Another popular creator takes the step back to lieutenant. "Snatch" is still the envy for all event hosts having taken a little played game-mode into the wider domain and inspired creators throughout GCCC. A fantastic event with plenty of fond memories for those who managed to attend. Now enjoying the warm weather
Re-structuring
All our crews have been re-organised subtly. No more secondary accounts as commissioner and commissioner ranks only transfer to other GCCC crew's if the commissioner needs the role. That means if you see our rules being broken then you can message one of the commissioners on your console, safe in the knowledge that they'll receive the message and have the knowledge to deal with it.
We'd like to thank all of those who've been demoted, many having gone onto new games and adventures. These changes will ensure that behind the scenes remain organised and committed to growing GCCC. We have 5 crews, 2000+ members and weekly events on 3 of our consoles (and active friendly creators on all 5)! What we've achieved so far is incredible. What we will achieve next, by working together, will be even better!
