After the recent changes to our joining requirements we're altering the way we reward people for participating within GCCC. These changes also bring about changes to how we will perform crew "clear outs" in the future so make sure you read them carefully, particularly if you are currently a muscle rank.
How to get promoted within GCCC
Create, Share, Play. Do one or more of these and you'll be rewarded via a promotion. The more you do of each the higher up in GCCC you'll go (however we do have a detailed set of criteria to keep things as fair as possible).
Create: Create quality content, create a lot of content, create "under-represented" game-modes, create all job types.
Share: Join forums, share content in events, share snapmatics, spread positivity, share reviews, youtube, tutorials.
Play: Participate in events, round-the-room events, active within the crew
Representative rank
Prerequisites:
To earn a promotion to representative rank you must do ONE of the following:
Lieutenant Rank
Prerequisites:
To earn a promotion to lieutenant rank you must do THREE of the following:
Commissioner Rank
Prerequisites:
To earn a promotion to commissioner rank you must already run a event or do/ be willing to do TWO of the following:
How crew clear outs will be undertaken
Clear clear outs are a necessary step due to the 1000 member limit enforced by . The clear outs ensure the members within the crew actively play GTA (you don't need to constantly be tagged up as GCCC while doing so) and engage with the crew in some way.

Representative rank
Prerequisites:
- In order to be promoted to representative your social club visibility settings don't immediately need to match our joining requirements, but if you can't change them you should make a commissioner aware of something that impedes your ability to change the settings (e.g. a social club error). You can be demoted / kicked if your social club settings are incorrect.
To earn a promotion to representative rank you must do ONE of the following:
- Creates high quality content (as decided by the set of commissioners). This helps GCCC by advertising our crew well (what's a better way to advertise a creator crew than one of it's creators creating high quality content?) and also providing high quality content in our events.
- Creates lots of jobs (25+) for "under-appreciated" game modes and/or attempts to create all job types. Races (of all types, not just stunt races) dominate GCCC and GTA in general. We try to address the balance by encouraging those who have created and got plays on at least 25 non-races. GCCC is about diversity and bringing all creators together.
- Take the first steps to sharing by joining the forums and conducting 3 simple steps. Joining the forums puts you one step closer to being able to review jobs, vote on events and talk to your fellow creators. The 3 steps you need to undertake are:
- Join the forum and create a welcome topic in the welcome board.
- Like the rules topic by clicking "This Rocks" (the star)
- Let us know you've done the above steps on the claim your rank thread.
- Shares crew member jobs on social media e.g. Youtube.
- Shares tutorials, tips or reviews regardless of it directly is for GCCC or not. GCCC is about creators helping each other and this is something we strongly encourage.
- Be active on the forums, sharing your time and knowledge with the rest of the crew, in a positive way e.g. reviewing, chatting, etc.
- Playing in our extensive set of events. Please note the event must produce a attendee list - if you notice it doesn't ask the host if you can make one to post onto the forums.
Lieutenant Rank
Prerequisites:
- In order to be promoted to lieutenant your social club visibility settings must match our joining requirements, or a commissioner should be aware of something that impedes your ability to change the settings (e.g. a social club error).
- Be a good sport. Set a good example to other members by staying away from arguments and being a positive influence within the crew.
To earn a promotion to lieutenant rank you must do THREE of the following:
- Shares the crew through social media e.g. Youtube. This means linking the the crews join page, recording events or other crew related things - not just recording crew member jobs.
- Shares reviews crew jobs regularly.
- Shares positivity by being a morale booster. Positive during events frequently, on social club and/or the forums.
- Regularly plays in one particular event e.g. Only attends Raceday Wednesdays.
- Regularly plays in another GCCC event.
- Regularly has GCCC as active crew.
Commissioner Rank
Prerequisites:
- In order to be promoted to commissioner your social club visibility settings must match our joining requirements.
- Be good sports, and in some respects the "perfect" members. Stay away from all trouble and if they do get involved it'd be as a resolver rather than the instigator. Encourages other creators and members
- Willing to take on TWO of the responsibilities below, or already hosts a event.
To earn a promotion to commissioner rank you must already run a event or do/ be willing to do TWO of the following:
- Shares reviews a lot of GCCC jobs. e.g. Events, even if it's just the same one, get detailed reviews.
- Helps the crew play by regularly co-hosts events. Co-hosting duties include being "gateways" in PS4 invites by running parties to get people in the lobby, producing attendee lists, resolving mid-event arguments etc.
- Participates in crew discussions on the forums frequently. The bare minimum for this is voting on topics.
- Does admin tasks such processing crew invites or crew clear outs.
- Leads one of our partner crews.
- Morale booster. Positive during events frequently, on social club and/or the forums.
How crew clear outs will be undertaken
Clear clear outs are a necessary step due to the 1000 member limit enforced by . The clear outs ensure the members within the crew actively play GTA (you don't need to constantly be tagged up as GCCC while doing so) and engage with the crew in some way.
Muscle ranks
- Constantly at risk. If you've been a muscle rank for longer than 3 months and still haven't earned a higher rank you will be kicked during the next crew clear out. Earning a promotion to representative involves taking a small amount of interest in GCCC and the many steps to earn a higher rank are laid out above.
Representative ranks
- Wrong social club settings. You will be warned first but if you don't change your social club settings you can be demoted/ kicked from the crew. Correct social club settings mean we can find your jobs to review and bookmark, knowing what your PSN/ Xbox Live is which is a nice social thing and our members shouldn't need to hide from each other - we're a friendly group. You can set your social club visibility settings to "friends and crew" after joining the crew. If you can't change your settings let a commissioner know!
- No activity on your social club wall for 3 months? You will be demoted. We want people who play GTA within the crew after all. If you start being active again you only need to ask for your rank back on the claim your rank thread. We don't make you earn the representative rank twice.
Lieutenant rank
- Wrong social club settings. You will be warned first but if you don't change your social club settings you can be demoted/ kicked from the crew. Correct social club settings mean we can find your jobs to review and bookmark, knowing what your PSN/ Xbox Live is which is a nice social thing and our members shouldn't need to hide from each other - we're a friendly group. You can set your social club visibility settings to "friends and crew" after joining the crew. If you can't change your settings let a commissioner know!
- No activity on your social club wall for 6 months? You will be demoted. We want people who play GTA within the crew after all. If you start being active again you only need to ask for your rank back on the claim your rank thread. We don't make you earn the lieutenant rank twice.
Commissioner rank
- Needs to fulfil TWO of the commissioner tasks within the last 6 weeks. Any commissioners demoted are still highly respected members of GCCC and the creator community.
