Deadwood Splash by AJ
Short loop around Vinewood Lake. Mix of off-road and barge roads with some water splashing.
++ Good track title and description.
++ Good route that has a mix of off-road and smooth barge roads right above the lake.
++ Defaulted Sports class suits track well.
++ Starting grid drop worked well. Never saw an issue with players spawning under the barges at the start.
+ - The route to CP-11 is not defined. Sometimes you turn too soon after CP-10 and miss CP-11. You usually learn once the mistake is made. Then remember on the next lap to look for CP-11 and the fruit stands to go between.
++ Great looking propping throughout with the artfully placed wreckage. All the Barges are smooth and placed well.
+ - I think the bus at CP-5 should be flipped over for a smoother slide along the side of it. Should slide from the front to the rear to avoid hitting the invisible lip.
+ - The sharp corner after CP-8 could use better barrier protection. Most will go off into the lake here.
== 4/5 Fun and well built track around the lake. Could use better barrier protection in crucial areas.
Zigzag Dirt Track by jcast39
Zig Zag through several chicanes on Sandy Shores Airfield followed by a long straight high speed dirt track. Defaulted to night and sports. Vehicles with good high speed in the straights seem to work best.
++ Good track title describes track well
++ Nice varied route of chicanes and high speed dirt sections
+ - Defaulted 5 laps is bit much. 4 suits it better.
+ - Propping is decent but could benefit from better night props
- - I think tire barriers placed throughout could be replaced with lighted starting gates buried into the ground. They will be more visible at night and less harmful to hit.
- - The Red plastic barriers on apexes can be hard to see and hit easily. sometimes the CP coronas block the visibility of the red plastic barriers. Lighted Airport signs at apexes would be more visible.
- - The propping at CP-13 doesn’t define the route to the dirt track well. You usually go off-road to the right of the dirt track and then run into the guard rail trying to return. Could use some lighted props between CP’s 14-17 to help define the route and warn of obstacles.
== 4/5 Fun night track that could benefit from better lighted props.
Go Kart Rally #4 by davidjames2013
Bifta locked rally around the Redwood Lights Dirt track. Red/White airport hut gates placed throughout to define the route.
++ Good track title and description
- - Checkpointing and propping could use some work.
- - CP 2 and 3 are too close. after hitting CP 2 you don’t see CP-3 in time to turn left. Most will overshoot this turn. Use Props to block off the route past CP-3. I think CP 2 is not needed. and move CP 3 more to the right so it can be seen easily. After turning left at CP-3 there needs to be a checkpoint at the next right hand turn.
- - Block off the route to the right of CP-15. The gate should be moved to the left here as well.
+ - The Red/White Airport hut gates look cool but sometimes block the flow of the track.
== 2/5 Needs work with checkpointing, routing and props to make a nice flowing track.
Orchard XS by rodo77
Small off-road lap race near the Redwood Lights Track in an Orchard-like environment. Open to all classes. Ran it with SUV’s which seemed to suit the track well.
++ Good track title and description.
+ - Good route but a little rough through the Redwood Lights track. Cutting across the track can be tricky to find a smooth enough line to not throw you off-course. Perhaps some barges buried into the ground would be helpful here.
- - CP-4 on top of the ramp should be deleted. It is a poor respawn point. I respawned here and got stuck on top of the ramp.
+ - Could use some barriers between CP 7 and 8 to protect from hitting the guard rails.
== 3/5 Good route for slower classes but could use some improvements to the flow in the rough section.
Bright Dollar Hills .62 by stronktank
.62 mile laps at night on a dirt track in Harmony. Propped with many Generator lamps throughout the track. Defualted to Sports and open to most classes. enjoyed it with compacts.
++ Good track title and description.
++ Good route and checkpointing.
++ Very well propped for night. I think all 100 props are generator lamps and follow the whole route. including many lighted water machine dynamic props as well.
== 4/5 Simple route and nicely lit for night. But doesn’t offer much else.
Off-Road Brawl 3 by theicide
One of two top voted tracks from the previous round returns for a slippery Brawl in the rain. The rain made the climb after CP-25 and the off camber side hill extremely difficult. Brawlers handled it best and it was nearly impossible in the Bifta. I don’t recommend rain on this track.
Sultan RS WRC Stage#3 by alanbold1983
A mixed surface Sultan RS Rally through Sandy Shores and around the Senora Desert. Open to all Supers only and the Sultan RS recommended. Featuring a crossover bridge and jumps.
++ Good track title and description
+ - Super is the only class available. many other classes are suitable on this track. Also restrict the stock vehicles to just Sultans RS and one dummy super.
- - Route is not contact suitable but should and could be.
- - Starting the race off and immediately heading unto a obstacle strewn narrow trail is a terrible idea. Just move CP-1 up to the next turn.
- - CP 9-10 shares the same section as CP-46 and the direction is in opposite directions. just go under the tracks at CP-41 instead. Also when jumping over the tracks between CP 9-10 you tend to land off the track to the left. Perhaps just built a banked turn after the tracks.
+ - Crossover bridge looks good but works more like a jump than a bridge. It is also quite narrow and doesn’t leave much room for error when jumping over.
+ - I think the barges used for the landing after the Barge gap jump are little too far to the left. I always tended to land on the right side or fall off the right side.
++ Barges used to fill in nasty dips in the dirt track was helpful.
== 2/5 I think this track has potential to be a great rally track. But needs allot of work to get there.
Dirty Joke by cuz05
Mixed surface rallycross track outside the Redwood Lights Track with a joker lap going through the Redwood Lights track. Joker lap route is not defined and could be short or long depending on the route you take.
++ Great track title and description
++ Good route featuring an interesting joker lap. using the term “joker” literally.
++ Cool looking starting gate made from trees and fallen trees.
+ - I have mixed feelings about the joker lap. It’s a cool concept. But It probably wouldn’t work well in a serious rallycross event. it would be too confusing and unfair. Can’t see how much purpose it has. Maybe just for fun goofing off with friends.
+ - Allot of props where used on sand blocks in the joker lap area. Leaving the rest of the track void of props.
== 3/5 The route is okay but not that interesting. Most of track is propless and most props where used in and around the joker lap. which I can’t take too seriously.
Enduro Riverside Run by juicy (Juicy_Fun)
Point-to-point Enduro locked course off steep drops, stream beds, jumping over water crossings and finishing off on a long dirt road.
++ Good track title and description
++ Good vehicle choice. Not many tracks locked to the Enduro.
+ - Good route but would of liked more off-road and less dirt road. The first drop was a killer. You had to be careful to not die. The first jump over the Zancudo river could kill you as well if you hit it too hard. It helps to wheelie over jumps. I enjoyed jumping back and forth across the river. I think the jump over the train tracks should have been included instead of going under the tracks. I think a route going around the backside of The Lost Trailer Park would have been more interesting than through it. The Route jumps onto Calafia Road at CP-46 and follows it to the finsih line. Would have liked to see more off-road bits in this area. Also CP-59 prevents you from using the natural gap jump along North Calafia Road. Always been a favorite jump of mine that didn’t get utilized.
== 3/5 Nice to do a track with a rarely used motorcycle. But the jumps could be made smoother and the route could be more interesting.
Dirty Barney by AJ
this fan favorite returns for a 3rd round. This time in coupes. I think coupes worked great on this track. maybe even better than muscles.
See Previous rounds for further review.
The Cruelest Intentions by Y2J_2264
A tough-as-nails off-road mountain race locked to the Kalahari. The Brakes are your best friend here.
++ Good track title and description.
+ - Locked to Kalahari. it is fun in the Kalahari and works well. May be enjoyable in other off-roaders as well.
++ Challenging and unique route. Steep mountain climbs followed by quick steep drops with props placed knocking you back and forth like a Pinball machine.
++ Nice crossover bridge that you cross right before the finish line.
+ - Props worked well but did look a little messy and out of place. Maybe using wrecked buses laid on there side would look more interesting and natural.
+ - The wooden works barriers after CP-20 looked okay but were intrusive when hit. I think something smoother would be better.
== 4/5 Challenging and unique route. I think propping could look better and still be effective. May be fun in other vehicles as well.
RallyCross [Rapid Faps] by jamiejohnward
One of the two top voted tracks from the previous round returns in the rain. I liked the improved bus placement after CP-2. It’s less intrusive and looks good. One of my favorite tracks.
