Dirty Barney by AJ
Mixed surface rally in and out of the Davis Quarry. Featuring a couple of built crossover bridges.
++ Great title and description
++ Love the picture of Barney eating a Bus, which can be seen from the track.
++ Great route and checkpointing
++ Beautiful propping throughout
++ The crossover bridges are smooth and well built.
++ The wreckage throughout looks great and artfully placed.
++ Tire stacks a safely placed out of harms way and look good.
- - Black tire barrier on the down hill section past CP-13 isn’t very visible and doesn’t give you enough warning to not go left of the beach flag. use something taller and more visible.
= = 5/5 All around high quality propping and route make this track a top pick.
Calafia Bridge Rally-X by theicide
Rallycross focused around the Calafia bridge. Featuring Barge roads where you run a couple laps around the Calafia Road Bridge before climbing a steep banked turn unto another barge road taking you across the the train bridge and through the train tunnel. Including the longest joker lap/pit lane i’ve ever seen on rallycross track. The joker lap adds a good 20-30 seconds to your lap and features a big jump to return back to the conventional lap. Sultan RS recommended.
Rebel Rousing by cuz05
A night time off-road track located in the Ron’s Alternate Wind farm and a section through a ravine outside the Palmer-Taylor Power Station. Featuring large lighted archways to lead your way and a risky option to jump over a electricity station. Great for Brawlers and Rebels or any fast off-roader. Must be done at night to appreciate the propping.
++ Good track title and description
++ Short fun route with interesting features and varied terrains.
++ The Large lighted arches was beautiful and helped define the route. especially over the electrical station.
++ The starting gate arch made from buses lit up was beautiful and very original.
+ - I think traffic should be turned off by default.
= = 5/5 Fun and challenging route with beautiful propping.
Early Daze Blaze Away by twosix1987
Point-to-point motorcycle track through Grapeseed locked to the Blazer. Mix of dirt and tarmac roads, trails and farm fields. Including a few jumps placed throughout. Non-Contact and first person recommended.
++ Great track title and description
++ Fun and diverse route that suits the Blazer well
+ - Wooden ramps are hard to see in the morning light and some difficult to line up for. Some can also be easily bypassed. I suggest making them wider or add props to make them more visible and to prevent you from bypassing them.
- - CP-40 could be missed if cutting the apex. Perhaps pull it closer to the apex or prop out the apex.
- - The final corner before the finish line is tricky. better propping is needed to define and prevent you from taking the wrong route towards the finish line.
== 4/5 A classic track that has withstood the test of time well. Could use a prop update to keep it fresh and on top.
WRX: TriCounty by theBees13
Mixed surface rallycross throughout Harmony and Route 68. Including a joker lap and featuring two crossover jumps. Open to sedans and sports.
++ Good track title and description
+ - Good route with a mix of high speed, tight turns, jumps and chicanes. though a little bit too long and high speed for rallycross. 3 laps is a better dafault setting.
+ - Sedans and Sports work well. But many other classes could work well on this track too.
++ Joker lap is well marked with an easy entrance and exit that merges well with other contact racers.
+ - Nice crossover jump locations but need adjustments
+ - first crossover jump may need be a little steeper to ensure there are no cross traffic collisions.
- - The second crossover jump needs to be more angled to the left to prevent you from going off the right side of the bridge upon landing.
- - Use the creator tools to blend props cleanly together. For example the red/white airports huts at the joker lap, the concrete barriers and containers.
- - Replace tire walls around CP-23 and 24 with friendlier barriers. These tire barriers are easy to hit and cause allot of issues when hit. Perhaps use containers or wooden barriers buried halfway into the ground.
== 3/5 Good track that could benefit from cleaner and better propping.
Sueno De Dali by stronktank
Surreal track returns for round 3 with some real improvements.
++ Improved description
++ vehicle class is now default to Sports Classics
++ Some intrusive and poorly visible props have been replaced or adjusted to improve the flow of the track and still be beautiful.
+ - Somehow the floating upturned table between CP-12 & 13 fell out of the sky during the race.
== 5/5 Very unique and beautiful track.
! JGR13 LS-PALETO RALLY by jager1381
Mixed surface and terrain endurance point-to-point rally starting in Los Santos and ending south of Paleto bay. Open to most classes with classes restricted to select cars when customs turned off. Default class is Super with Sultan RS recommended.
++ Good track title and description
++ Varied route that includes high speed city streets, winding mountain roads, fast dirt roads and technical narrow canyon trails. route is over 7 miles long but can be done in less than 7 minutes.
++ Nice looking tall starting gate. Starting gates with red containers where used to mark the entrance to the off-road sections. Looked good and visible.
++ Well placed barriers to protect you from going off course in crucial spots. especially along the trail in raton canyon that made the route easy and safe to navigate.
+ - Unpainted barriers are functional but could look better if they are all the same height.
- - Barriers are needed between CP-28 and 29 prevent from easily going off the track here. Which if your lucky and not hit any trees, it can be used as a short cut.
- - Replace the tire lines at CP-40 with friendlier props.
== 4/5 The varied terrains and surfaces keep this long track interesting throughout. Could benefit from a few prop changes and adjustments.
Sandy Shores RX by @a-wes-7
Short rallycross track around Sandy Shores including a joker lap. Open to most classes and defaulted to sports and 4 laps.
++ Good track title and includes world record holder in description.
+ - Short laps under 45 seconds. 5 laps would be a more practical default.
++ Propping is beautifully done.
+ - Nice joker lap with entrance marked with arrows on each end. Could use something more obvious. the first corner has only cones to define the route. The 2nd corner has a chicane made from tire barriers and a sticky tire stack that can easily be hit at the apex.
- - The left hand corner at CP-4 could use a Barge wall on the outside to prevent from going off track here.
== 4/5 Beautiful propping throughout and great route. Joker lap could use a little bit of attention to detail and functionality.
Go Kart Rally #3 by davidjames2013
Go Kart Rally through Ron’s Alternate Wind Farm locked to the Bifta. Featuring gates made from airport huts placed throughout the track and a few jumps launching off barges.
+ - Good track title. Description says it is a race around the Grand Senora Desert. Pretty generic and would be more specific if it said Ron’s Wind Farm instead.
+ - Good route and okay checkpointing. Some checkpointing could use adjustments.
- - CP-11 can be missed by going wide. pull it back to the apex. Add another checkpoint between 11 and 12 at the next apex. Pull 13 back to the apex. Add another checkpoint between 13 and 14 at the next apex.
+ - first corner only has left arrow sign. A larger more visible prop would be more helpful.
- - Barge jump between CP-9 and 10 is too steep and too hard to land cleanly. The left hand corner of the barge can also brick you.
- - The Barge jump before the finish line is also hard to land without hitting the finish line gate or landing off to the the right.
- - Airport runway gates on hairpin turns can be in the way and hurt the flow of the track.
== 3/5 nice route and cool looking gates. But suffers from bad flow that could be improved with better prop and checkpoint placement.
Don’t Rush by NerfThis_97
Point-to-point Off-Road track through the Chiliad Wilderness. Fairly technical and best not to rush it to avoid nasty mistakes. Defaulted to SUV’s and night.
++ Great track title and description that accurately describes the track.
+ - Good route. Some checkpointing could be clearer though.
- - Starting grid starts everyone bunched together in a tight spot and immediately heads up a narrow trail. Move the starting grid to the road and give players a chance to spread out before heading onto the trail.
++ Default SUV’s work well.
- - Not well propped for default night and suggest noon instead.
++ Lumber propping looked good and should use more.
- - Tire barriers, tire stacks and tire lines placed liberally throughout the track. Looked out of place, are too close to the trail and terrible to hit. Sometimes requiring a respawn to get unstuck from.
- - The route at CP-60 is unclear. Block off the road here to make it clear to turn left. The bus that you make a u-turn around is too big. A nice roundabout would look great here.
== 3/5 Nice route that would be more enjoyable with better propping.
Quick ‘n’ Dirty by coachwargo
The top voted track from the previous round returns with muscles in the rain as Quick ‘n’ Muddy. YeeHaw!
See Season 2 Round 2 for review.
Rally [Rocky Knocks] by jamiejohnward
After being a highly voted track from the previous 2 rounds. It returns for a 3rd time. This time with compacts and the morning light to get a better view of that beautiful bridge. Well done.
See previous rounds for further reviews.
