Young’s Trak’s Track by coachwargo
Mostly dirt track throughout the country around Harmony. Sports Classics is locked to the Roosevelt and Tornado Custom.
Great choices and allows the possibility of a custom Roosevelt to be used. Route has a nice old time feel.
Staying away from modern buildings and a sticking to areas where the buildings look older and more rustic.
All propping used was natural looking with extra trees planted for a more country experience.
I recommend including some old open carriage wagon props.
Maybe even build a drive through rustic barn somewhere made from Altruist fences and hay bales.
I think that would make a very interesting feature.
Glad to see a track built for the Roosevelt and the route and scenery suited the car well.
Stage 7 San Andreas WRC by theicide
Stage 7 of this point-to-point world rally championship starts where Stage 6 ended on Route 68 in Harmony.
Immediately heading onto the dirt towards and through the Tataviam mountains.
Featuring a small water crossing along the Land Act Reservoir.
Sunken barges are used in this area to help smooth out the once real rocky lake bed.
Stage 7 finishes on the Palomino freeway outside Ron’s Alternate Wind Farm.
! JGR13 Sultan Challenge by jager1381
A very challenging off-road track built strictly for the Sultan RS located in Raton Canyon.
The use of any other super car will result in a DNF!.
I saw first hand the ones who attempted to use another super car and fail miserably.
Track design accurately achieves it’s intended goal. Featuring Deep water crossings that the Sultan RS can barely make it through.
Stunt jumps that are fairly easy to complete. Takes a little over 3 minutes to complete a lap.
If your looking for a track to push your Sultan RS to it’s limit.
Or troll your friends and tell them to use any other super car, BaHaHa! This track will fulfill your needs.
Ursula’s Illuminations by agrajag
Night rally track around El Burro.
Featuring vertical standing red containers with lights shining down the sides and trees with lights shining down through them.
There’s even a couple containers at the 1st corner that have mysterious lights shining out of them.
Ooh and Aah, It's so Neato! A couple of fun jumps are added to shortly exit the Oil fields and then back in again.
The first jump can be a little tricky to line up for correctly. If you go off too far to the left.
You will land in a bad spot. the second jump works pretty flawlessly.
I liked the floating platforms used to make a nice smooth downgrade in one section.
The propping defined the route well and it was lit well for night.
The road through the neighborhood past CP-22 is quite bumpy and Jager1381 described it as turning his car into a kangaroo.
Your car just starts bouncing all over the place and is hard to control in this section.
Overall I really enjoyed the propping and layout of this track.
Memorial Speedway by atheistsw
A fast paced mixed surface track going through Lago Zancudo and Tongva Valley.
Featuring two long Barge bridges connecting roads together and making for a nice new unique route.
I enjoyed reading the long detailed story in the description. The starting gate looks nice and clean.
The barge bridges are smooth and well built. The exit off the first barge can be tricky to line up for.
Atheistsw suggests lining up under the starting gate placed on the right side.
This will line you up correctly for the exit.
I however on a couple occasions bricked on the barges on the downhill section just past said starting gate.
If the nose of your car is facing down there. It can sometimes brick you.
I found pulling back on the left stick to try and keep your nose up made that section smooth.
I saw some cut the apex at the end of the 2nd barge crossing and miss the checkpoint.
Perhaps a prop is needed to prevent apex cutting there. l liked the starting gates used as barriers at the end of the 2nd barge bridge.
They are visible from a good distance and provide good protection from overshooting the corner.
The route onto the Fort Zancudo bridge worked well except for a couple of pesky bushes that could spin you out.
And finally the propping at the final hairpin was well done with barges, concrete barriers and the vertical red/white tire line marking the apex.
Well done, one of my favorite tracks.
The Bushy Bushy Bush by docmedpot
Get ready for a face full of Bush. A challenging hill climb followed by a fast descent covered in Bushes.
You constantly get smacked in the face by bush coming down the fast ravine which can be disorienting,
and you hope you will make it to the bottom alive and not brick on a branch.
Try it in 1st person to make the experience more dramatic. It also may helpful in some thick sections.
Best suited for the Brawler. Using over sized 4x4’s will have difficulties through the first narrow culvert and hitting branches.
And rear wheel buggies will have difficulties climbing the rutted out ravine.
Using the Sanchez leaves you open to many opportunities of having your head lopped off by branches.
So I recommend using a small fast 4x4 like the Brawler for best around performance.
At the bottom is a natural jump and then you cross paths right before the finish line.
This would be an issue for contact racing. A jump right before the crossover would eliminate any collisions there.
Plus it would be fun to jump over competitors right before they hit the natural jump. Clever concept and well executed.
Chillamo Rally by AJ
Mix of dirt and floating platform bridges along the base of Chiliad and the Alamo Sea.
Creating an interesting new route with crossover bridges. Including a nice Pit Lane/Joker lap.
CP-6 can be missed on the left side so maybe move it a little to the left.
The hairpin at CP-8 could use some barriers to prevent you from going off into the bushes.
There are some buses laid on there sides used for barriers.
I suggest flipping them over for a smoother slide against the roofs.
You should slide from the front part of the roof to the rear. And not from the rear of the roof to the front.
There is an invisible lip at the front of the roof that can brick you when going from the rear to the front.
There is an invisible lip at the front of the buses roof that can brick you.
Also place them Perpendicular to the track so you don’t slide over the top of them.
It’s especially problematic at CP-25. The buses are down the embankment a little.
Move them right to the lip of the embankment and place them perpendicular to the road there.
I saw some crash into the buses and they would either slide over the top,
miss them to the right or get stuck between the lip of the road and the bus.
The Crossover bridges are well built and love the routes made with the barges.
Getting back onto the dirt road from the barges at Cp-18 is tricky and hard to find a smooth line.
I think you should remove CP-22 and allow the use of the natural gap jump there. I love hitting that jump.
But can’t hit it on this track, because of CP-22. Overall, one of my favorite tracks featuring high quality propping.
Kartz at the Kortz by theicide
Kortz center transformed into a multi-level slot car style Karting track. Open to all compacts and motorcycles.
Other classes are restricted to 2 or 3 slower or smaller vehicles that I think suit the track best when customs turned off.
Utilizing the roads outside the Kortz center and floating platforms used to make a multi-level route through the Kortz center.
Helpful tip for dealing with those pesky bushes at the final corner that can spin you out.
I suggest sliding against the barge and red/white airport hut placed there.
The airport hut is angled to shoot you toward the starting gate. You avoid hitting the bushes and get guided through the corner.
Hard and Slippery by barfy86
A mix of hard and slippery surface roads through Harmony and along the Zancudo River with a lap through the Lost Trailer park.
With an option to take a jump over the train tracks or go under them.
Taking the jump is a gamble. if you hit it right and straight on. You can get an advantage on your opponents.
If you mess it up, you suffer the consequences. The hay bale propping leading you up to the jump well defines the route.
But they aren’t friendly props to hit. I think smoother barriers would be better. So you’re not punished when hitting them.
the out and back route to the lost trailer park makes this track not suitable for contact racing.
The hairpin corner at CP-9 and the corner at CP-11 were prone to be overshot by many racers.
Barriers would be helpful in those areas. Overall a enjoyable varied route with a fun jump.
Rally [Muddy Thuds] by jamiejohnward
The highly voted track from round 6 returns for round 7 with some improvements made.
Now more appropriately titled a rally instead of rally-x.
Customs are now allowed in the sports class. But can still be locked to both versions of the Kuruma when customs are turned off.
Some prop adjustments were made. I do think a barrier is needed for the right hander at the starting line to prevent from overshooting the corner.
Perhaps just one buried barge there would be sufficient.
Enjoyed using my custom Kuruma on this track and it actually could keep up with the faster sports cars in the long dirt sections.
One of my favorites. See round 6 for further review.
Rally Cats (and Dogs) by coachwargo
Rally dirt track around the El Burro oil fields.
Each class is locked to a vehicle with a cat or dog name.
Interesting way of deciding which vehicle to lock a class to.
We used coupes, which gave us the Jackal.
The Jackal suited the track well and I quite enjoyed racing something I never use.
I enjoyed crashing through the fence in one section. Track features additional tree propping throughout,
a fun blind off-camber corner that drops down pretty quick and a couple of fun small jumps.
I think the wall of blue barriers could use some tidying up. Overall a fun track locked to rarely used vehicles.
Dirt Track Rally by @bellyfluff1
Rallycross track located in grapeseed including a joker lap marked with blue barriers. An uninspiring and generic track title.
Track features lots of sharp 90 degree corners with many that have no barrier protections that keep you on your toes.
Especially when there’s many hidden boulders and bushes to keep an eye out for.
The low long shutters under the bridge were helpful. But many more corners could use some barriers to protect from obstacles.
Sticky red/white tire stacks are used on some apexes that could be replaced with friendlier props.
I also think the starting grid would be better placed where the cool wrecked car arch is placed.
The current starting grid is on a narrow dirt road and quickly leads to a sharp 90 degree turn. Not ideal for contact racing.
The route between CP-19 and 20 is not well defined.
There are Red/white tire stacks around the corner of the building that imply that is the intended route.
But it’s easier and quicker to just go straight for the tarmac. Fun track that could use some tweaking.
The Lost Rallycross by whiteywhite
This highly voted track from rounds 5 and 6 is back for a 3rd time. everybody can’t seem to get enough of this beautifully propped and well laid out track.
Wouldn’t mind seeing it again in Round 8. See round 5 and 6 for further reviews.
Deadwood Swerve by AJ
The highly voted track from round 6 returns for round 7. One thing I forgot to mention from my last review. CP-23 at the top of the dirt climb is blind and doesn’t give drivers time to prepare the the right hand turn. Many will end up crashing into the embankment. I suggest pulling it back right before the stop sign. I think this will sufficiently warn of the upcoming corner and encourage those to turn sooner. One of my favorite tracks. See round 6 for further review.
