[PS4] The Great Wide Open by Coach_Wargo
A fast all off-road course through the grass with planted rows of trees to help define the route. Best suited for Brawlers and Buggies. I liked the Starting gate made from fallen trees and a wooden fence. Looks good and fits the surroundings well. I think the deep Ravine ruins the flow of the track. It needs a jump or bridge across it. There are also some stumps hidden in the grass that catch you by surprise. Maybe plant some trees in place of the stumps. Had allot of fun blasting through the grass in my Brawler.
Stage 5 San Andreas WRC by Theicide
Stage 5 starts where stage 4 finished at the east gate of Fort Zancudo. It covers a majority of the windy dirt mountain roads of the Great Chaparral. Built for the Sultans and Kurumas for a pure rally experience. Faster Sports and Supers will dominate, however.
Beetle Bum by NittyDon
A fan favorite from round 4 is back for round 5. This time done in the rain for a new experience. Ramps should be made mandatory to go over. Most will bypass the ramps for better lap times. Also a barrier is needed to prevent overshooting the sharp right hand corner at CP-12. see round 4 for further review.
Farmyard Curves by Stronktank
Short and Sweet mostly dirt rally curving around the local farmyards. Nice concrete barriers, wooden boxes and wreckage propping. However, the various construction propping around CP-9 and 10 looks a little cluttered and is intrusive. Hurts more than helps. Fun little track.
Olivia's Little Sprint by Agrajag
Another #1 voted track from round 4 makes it to round 5. I like the improvements made since the previous round. There is now a lighted runway sign warning you of the guard rail that was easily hit before. The checkpoint onto the platforms can no longer be missed at the apex. The starting gate with a corner sticking in has been fixed. But now where the platforms drop down. There is a starting gate too low that can be driven over and cause you to get stuck on. Had allot of fun with muscles in the rain on this round. Still think SUV's suit it well.
Rally X - Senora Springs by Atheistsw
Mixed surface rallycross taking place in the senora desert. Great route and nice joker lap placement. I like the plants placed at the entrance for the joker lap. The red/white tire lines standing vertically in the middle of cattle feeders at sharp apexes looked great. I think allot of the tire walls should be replaced with friendlier barriers, though. I had allot of fun on this rally-x track.
Pub Brawler by Jimbob-STROUD
A fast mixed surface track around Sandy Shores. Works well in Muscles and Brawlers. This track has been completely re-propped and the starting grid moved to a new location since I last played it. I think the new location for the starting line is a big improvement and should prevent bottle necking at the end of the runway. It also features a nice pit lane right before the starting line. The new propping includes a mix of half buried green containers and airport huts. The propping works well and clearly defines the route. I miss the more rustic look of old hay bale propping, though. Still, one of my favorite tracks.
Go Kart Rally #1 by DavidJames2013
Mostly dirt rally locked to the Bifta. the main feature on this track is starting gates made from red/white airport huts. You will pass through 16 of them and are the only props used. It gives you a mario kart feel and help define the route. Some sections however have big gaps without seeing a starting gate. Simple desgin that worked well and was allot of fun in the Bifta.
Ron's Rally Run by Cuzbien
Mostly dirt with some off-road and tarmac sections around the Ron's Alternates Wind Farm. Track was done in SUV's and worked well. I Like the starting gate made from fallen trees and a wooden fence. And the lights with the Generator completely buried was very clean looking. Nice route with additional plants and trees added. Sand blocks are used on some crucial corners. But some corners got overlooked. For example the sharp corner at CP-22 could use some barriers to prevent you from getting tangled up in the trees. the pit lane was awkwardly placed and the route not well defined. Fun track that will work well in most classes.
Rally-X [Dirty Hurts] by JamieJohnWard
Highly voted track from round 4 returns for round 5. This time done with custom sports instead of the locked Sultan RS super. Which works well for some sports cars. Some custom sports cars may be too overpowered through the lumpy sections though. One of my favorite tracks. see round 4 for further review.
The Lost Rallycross by WhiteyWhite
Mixed surface rallycross through The Lost Trailer park with a newly built platform bridge taking you out of the trailer park over to Marina Drive. Great route with a nice joker lap and a pit lane. I liked the look of the sunken boulders and wreckage. There is a pole on the right side near the end of the platforms that isn't very visible. Perhaps a red/white tire stack wrapped high around the pole will improve it's visibility. the barriers at the end of the platforms was beautifully done. the concrete barriers on the right after the platforms, end too soon and an extension would be helpful. The Pit lane is pretty tight and there are destructible barriers at the exit that if hit will leave pieces on the track that will cause a hazard for others. Great rallycross, one of my favorites.
El Burro Big 8 by Deejayb1874
Short Figure 8 rally track located in El Burro Heights. I loved the Concrete blocks used to make the starting gate and the long smooth corner barrier at CP-8, not a fan of tire barriers though. Nicely propped for night time as well. We did this race with Sedans and customs off. The choice was between a Super Diamond and Warrener. The Super Diamond won both the sunday's and tuesday's events. I feel this track was intended to be done in a Warrener and not the Super Diamond. I think the 2nd choice should be something slower like a Asea. This is a fun track for the Warrener.
St. Brigid Rally by AJBrewer
Mostly dirt rally loop in the Great Chaparral with a great route and propping; I liked the starting gate made from buses. Nicely placed various wreckage and sunken boulders looked great and natural. the boulders at CP-29 could use the sunken in treatment as well. I liked the Pit lane. Fun track raced in muscles.
Observe the Dune by NittyDon
Another highly voted track from round 4 returns for round 5. This time done in the rain for a new experience. See round 4 for a further review.
