VANQUISH #41
A 2 or 3 Playlist Event showcasing the newest and most innovative Last Team Standings that the GCCC has to offer, with an optional Xtra playlist closing out the night.
Each Playlist will consist of 4-5 jobs, and we'll aim for two Matches consisting of quick-fire rounds, whilst the rest could have the possibility of becoming a little more drawn out. Matches will be played first to 2 or 3, depending on recommendations, consensus and general exhaustion levels.

HOW TO JOIN
Crew pre-lobby will open at 7:30PM with invites and reminders sent out periodically. A PS4 Portal Party will be hosted by me, Hephaestos76. Add me and/or co-Hosts jjn1lfc and Loftonian on PSN.
Invites for the first playlist will go out at around 8PM BST, giving you five to ten minutes to join. Check your phones.
Vanquish Rules and requirements
The usual rules for Crew lobbies will apply, so let's not be killing each other until the event gets underway (unless a Freemode Event demands it). Please ensure you are not wearing bulletproof or motorcycle helmets (or bandanas) as these both can confer an unfair advantage within jobs. Finally, please remove invisible or glitched clothing whilst participating.
Submissions should be made to the Vanquish topic in the PS4 Share tab, here on the event page, as a PM here or on Social Club OR merely by adding the Crew Event Tag #VQ to their job description/ details.
Members can submit two of their own creations per month and any number of creations from other crew members.
When selecting jobs for the event, priority will be given to creators who regularly provide feedback/reviews of other people's jobs.
The optimum size for submissions is for 30 people, but some smaller jobs may be considered for bonus rounds/ playlists, if circumstances and demands allow. I will endeavour to test all submissions before each event, so worth considering the minimum player requirement too, as jobs where minimum is too high (more than 4?), may be difficult to get enough players to join (the test).
Please include a brief description with any special settings you think should be applied and the number of players (min + max). Innovation, whether new ideas or new takes on old ideas, will be rewarded with inclusion in the playlists.
If you would like to submit jobs for the Creator Showcase, you should submit two old (and preferably never played in VQ) jobs and two Brand New jobs. The old jobs can have any number of plays. If you want to test any of your jobs before submission, then PM o_ManOfFire_o and we can arrange a small testing session to try them out and offer feedback.
When setting up your LTS, make sure the round length isn't too long. Consider how much players will want to stay if they die in the first minute and have to watch for a further nine (or more) minutes. Preferably the rounds should be set to five(ish) minutes - rarely more than 8 minutes, unless you only want it played to 1 round. A 15 minute-per-round LTS will likely only be played for one round, 6-8 minute rounds could be played to best of three (set to 2 rounds), whereas 5 minute rounds could be played to best of five (set to 3 rounds).
Reviews are welcome here, but NOT responses to constructive feedback - I will request that such responses be removed. Please discuss your jobs in PM's with your reviewer.

The Reviews
Monkey Marijuana Temple by KM86REDDEVIL
A two team frantic scramble for limited weapons at the top of an Aztec style temple with monkeys and marijuana plants arranged over and around it. Players start with hatchet and first have to pick up molotovs and try to detonate explosive crates – it seems faster to shove them out of the way, as the molotovs don’t seem to do much. There are only one or two pistols at the top of the temple and a few more molotovs on the tiers on the way up. Speed is key here. Good and fun, although it seemed a bit glitchy, took some time to load in and then we crashed out after one round.
NIGHT TERRORS by dannyNATIVE
A job that is the closest that I have seen to a Slasher type of job with two teams spawning under the map and running underwater (the only place this still). The water muffles sound and makes the darkness almost complete. The trees and rocks make it difficult to see the OHD of players sometimes, which makes it harder to tell enemies from team-mates, but that’s a good thing. Looking forward to playing this in our next Hide and Seek playlist.
X-Treme Windmill Run by Loftonian
A two team race in dune buggies to a central battle arena where a selection of weapons, a few armed insurgents and a Savage helicopter, for those able to get to it. On the run there, there is a hole that was filled in with a grey building block, but I’d suggest it were filled a bit higher. No complaints about the final battle area.
Derby Dunes Vs Brickades by kolkrotterdam
A fast paced demo derby between Dunes and brickades. The players start on four flat spokes of the arena which is a steep-sided ring, wherein any loss of speed, from manoeuvring to collision results in that player and usually anyone they hit sliding out of the combat area. I think the Dunes have a speed advantage, but the Brickades have a weight advantage. 5 minute rounds are over quickly nonetheless, if all the remaining players are just driving around in circles avoiding each other. Good fun.
Catwalk Killaz by Hephaestos76
My own job, feedback appreciated
Dunes Vs Dunes by Mahaloka
Dune demo derby, in two parts with a top ring around a lower bowl with a hole in the middle. Players get flare guns to pick up on the top ring, but I’d recommend molotovs instead as they are more likely to lure people out of their vehicles. It is possible to drive back out of the bowl and so maybe the molotovs next to the hole could be replaced with pipe bombs (limited to 2 per pick up), which would be a greater temptation.
Dinghis vs Snipers by Juicy_fun
Interesting concept, which sees two teams starting with sniper rifles. One team has cover and the other has very little, but has some dinghies which they can use to storm the other team. However, the only alternative weapons are Heavy Snipers for the defending team and a pistol which seems to be on their side too. This format doesn’t seem to encourage the boat team to attack as they are meant to. I think both teams ought to spawn with pistols or something suitably short-range and then pick up weapons which befit their rols. So the sniper team have sniper rifles, a few marksman rifles and a single Heavy Sniper, while the attackers get assault rifles, tear gas and maybe a grenade. The sniper platform at the side is good, but maybe it could be out in the water a bit, so that it is a bit of a challenge to get to.
LTS: Dying Of The Light by terto123
Two team LTS on a rooftop in Strawberry, that with some clever propping has been converted into a two level combat arena. Runway signs and generators with lamps create some interesting lighting. A nice distribution of the limited selection of weapons and a good number of health and armour pickups reward those willing to do a bit of run and gun.
SNIPERS VS BMX by fabinhoo_17
A revamp of an older job, this duckhunt sees bmx riders racing to the top of the Vinewood Bowl where they can jump out of the arena to get to a selection of helicopters. The sniper team are on top of the stage roof and cannot get down without dying. The additions have improved the job well. Signs and lights on the duckhunt run create some interesting shadows, the exit from the arena is now impossible without a bmx. Good fun.
Cage Fighters (30P) by tectac
Very well built cage fighting arena, complete with viewing stands. Very small combat area, so although there is nowhere to hide, although one can nip in and out of it and disappear from the radar whilst out. Suggest making the combat area larger than the enclosure, given that it is already a closed box, so that players can’t hide at all. Otherwise, what’s to complain about.
