MONDAY 7TH MARCH AT 8PM GMT - 3PM EST - 12 NOON PST
VANQUISH #18
A 2 or 3 Playlist Event showcasing the newest and most innovative Last Team Standings that the GCCC has to offer, with an optional Xtra playlist closing out the night.
Each Playlist will consist of 4-5 jobs, and we'll aim for two Matches consisting of quick-fire rounds, whilst the rest could have the possibility of becoming a little more drawn out. Matches will be played first to 2 or 3, depending on recommendations, consensus and general exhaustion levels.
#VQ
HOW TO JOIN
Crew pre-lobby will open at 7:30PM with invites and reminders sent out periodically. A PS4 Portal Party will be hosted by me, Hephaestos76. Add me and/or co-Hosts felipesilver & jjn1lfc on PSN.
Invites for the first playlist will go out at around 8PM BST, giving you five to ten minutes to join. Check your phones.
Vanquish Rules and requirements
The usual rules for Crew lobbies will apply, so let's not be killing each other until the event gets underway (unless a Freemode Event demands it). Please ensure you are not wearing bulletproof or motorcycle helmets, as these both can confer an unfair advantage within jobs. Finally, please remove invisible or glitched clothing whilst participating.
Submissions should be made to the Vanquish topic in the PS4 Share tab, here on the event page or as a PM here or on Social Club. Members can submit two of their own creations per month and any number of creations from other crew members.
The optimum size for submissions is for 30 people, but some smaller jobs may be considered for bonus rounds/ playlists, if circumstances and demands allow. I will endeavour to test all submissions before each event, so worth considering the minimum player requirement too, as jobs where minimum is too high (more than 4?), may be difficult to get enough players to join (the test).
Please include a brief description with any special settings you think should be applied and the number of players (min + max). Innovation, whether new ideas or new takes on old ideas, will be rewarded with inclusion in the playlists.

!JGR13 Drive Climb Kill by jager1381
A two teams LTS which combines a 60-second style dash for the weapons (with golf carts and some climbing/running) and a drop-stuff-on-people’s-heads kind of duckhunt/parkour. The weapon area is shared so the pressure is on to get there as quickly as possible in order to kill any of the opposition also racing for the weapons, but some of your team have to go for the flare guns so they can drop pipe piles on the enemy runners and hamper their chances of getting to the weapons. The roofs can be somewhat annoying to climb back up on the return run, but that is a GTA-physics issue and not easily rectified without using more props, which I assume are all accounted for. Overall a fun amalgamation of two already popular game formats.
Survival Of The Fittest by JamieJohnWard
A four team LTS that two teams ascending through a multi-storey car park collecting pistols and fighting the opposing team as they go and trying to get to the top floor where they can find micro-smg’s and then climb cross to the other car park where the other two teams have been doing the same. Loads of hidey holes and cover points, make it possible for a few players to camp and wait for a stronger team to expose themselves in the bottlenecks that they have to run through. Perhaps some of the shuttering placed as cover could be rotated so that one can actually use it as cover, because when facing the wrong way it is inadequate. I would also suggest stepping up the weapons, so giving smg’s as first pick-ups and some kind of assault rifle/ full smg or shotgun as a reward for getting to the top, but before trying to attack the other victorious team.
Race To Doom 2 #VQ by Eyezgamer
The second race to doom that sees running a gauntlet to the weapons, which involves a degree of teamwork and some speed. The runners must first shoot down flatbed trucks to use as bridges before climbing on board water ramps with bikes on – you get on the bike and the ramp will start descending slowly. The final run, if you have the patience to stay on the ramp this long takes you to some shotguns and health pickups in a little arena, before you run on to a final floating bridge of water ramps to be shot down to get to a tank and a jet. Annoyingly, if one player decides to jump off the ramp with the bike, then it stops descending and the rest of the team are stranded there – this happened several times and made it frustrating for their team-mates, who were left behind. However, it was a fun battle when played with considerate teams.
Trapped On A Roof Hukyu by Loftonian
Stunters Vs Snipers with a single straight road run to the platform on a rooftop where the snipers spawn. A selection of dynamic props can be used to slow down or blow up the stunters, who can pick a monster truck, truck, Mesa or Kalahari to begin with, but can get a Zentorno once they have fallen or driven off the platform. Given that it is easy for the stunters to get to the roof that the snipers are on, they have marksman rifles as well as the heavy snipers and a little gap at the side to hide in if the stunters get too close. Players start with grenades too, but these are rarely used by the snipers, because the rooftop is so small they would likely suicide. It is possible for the snipers to get onto the neighbouring rooftop too, out of the reach of the stunters, but this likely isn’t intentional. It is also possible for players to get into the exploded gas tanks on the sniper platform using a truck or liberator to climb on.
No Mercy Train 1 by JC2-FAN-FOREVER
A train chaos job that sees teams spawning either end of a long narrow arena on a train track – one team has room to hide from the train at their spawn point, the other doesn’t really, making it an unbalanced start. Most players are unlikely to see the enemy and will in fact be more likely to be killed by a train, stuck in a prop or just die randomly. Unfortunately, this has a tank outside the arena, so a player that glitches out of the arena can kill most of the other team just by firing blindly at the arena.
(JB) Ring Of Death by jeffbob1979
Snipers Vs Wallriders at LSA. A big ring of floating barges makes the wall with platforms arranged around the bottom for the snipers to spawn on. They have a choice of heavy snipers or marksman rifles to defend themselves and there are oil drums on each platform too. A good fun LTS that is always going to be trickier for the sniper team, particularly when playing with pro-stunters.
Watch Yer Back 2 by ManOfFire
My own job - a sequel to the original of the same name but not as good , where teams have to run to an armoury to secure better weapons before attacking the enemy team. However the armoury is too exposed to other players and the arena is a bit too spread out in my opinion.
Top Rope: Mount Josiah by mandbleclaw157
2-Team Demo Derby atop Mount Josiah with Brawlers. Players can drive around and over the mountaintop and a molotovs are available to destroy the enemy vehicles, which is good because brawlers are not easy to destroy. Short five minute rounds mean the action is always over quickly, so players stay engaged.
´¥ GAME OF DEAD #2 ºF60 by fredouille60
Avalanche style duckhunt/parkour – one team has to run down a slope while the other team has to shoot vehicles to land on their heads and then traverse a parkour course unfettered by things falling on their heads. However, the runners only have miniguns as a reward for completing the run and nowhere safe to fire from. Terribly unbalanced – boring for the snipers and too difficult for the runners.
Cops and Crooks: Reborn 1 by Zorvaine
A capture LTS from Zorvaine – cops vs crooks unhindered by the restrictive 1000 metre diameter play area typical of Last team Standings. Originally created with the cops having unlimited lives, in this incarnation both teams only have one life and respawn in the prisonin the excessively long 30 minute rounds. Of course, it is never likely to run that long, but just seeing the time limit is going to deter some players immediately. When played in auto-aim, it is just too easy for players on foot to target and hit those driving, so they can just camp at the few places where the crooks have to go to get boats or helicopters to get to their boat at at sea where their capture point is. For me it was just a bit too complicated and open a map for the LTS format. Plus the prison respawns were too far apart there weren’t enough weapons to have a good fight there if you died.
Attica by Stronktank
A 20 player LTS with players spawning in the towers at the prison and having to kill one other player before sniping the other players in their towers. A nice idea and well executed, but sadly only played with five people so I can’t really give a fair review. Very fast rounds given the lack of cover in the towers.
