Hi All,
I was mucking around on a race called Quartermile yesterday together with a few other crewmembers. We replayed the race 15 times orso changing vehicle class every time. It was kinda fun. Really simple. Or so it would seem. I'm pretty sure we all had maxed out custom cars so that should have been equal. However, ubercamel wiped the floor with the rest of us every time. So there are tricks to Dragracing.
Thats where I got the idea of a ready made dragrace playlist with one heat for every class. That way you can get plenty of practice at accelerating using the tricks. And you get to show off your entire garage to the other players. A regular Sunday car meet! I checked if anyone else had made such a dragrace playlist before. That would saved me a bit of work. But did not find it. So i sacrificed my time and noob skills and made this:
socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/ps3/playlists/playlist/6fdOYQvscUSavhIeB85LBg (shortlink to playlist possible?)
It says it is for 16 players but the starting grid is 8 wide and two deep. So only the first line of 8 positions is usable.
I would like to use the discription line for each race to explain the tricks it takes to pull away like an ubercamel. That way people can read it in the lobby and try it out straight away. I have 10 descriptions to fill. But apparently I dont know the first thing about dragracing. I've heard stuff. But I just squeeze and wait. Any dragrace tricks are very welcome. Also name any myths that you know of.
At the end of the playlist I would like to add two extra races where the players can choose their own class. As a chance for rematch or to show off other custom cars they own in the same class. Or maybe someone wants to dragrace utility vehicles!
If there is anything else I should add or improve, let me know.
