This is a vague attempt to update & replace the massive Content Creator Bugs, Suggestions & Wishlist [Pre-2020] thread. For now it'll focus on only major bugs and I'll likely be more selective on what's added to create a smaller, more readable list (that isn't as difficult to keep up-to-date).
I'll aim to update and add periodically, additions and suggestions welcome! If you add a bug or suggestion or particularly feel any of these issues deserve more attention I'd encourage you to report to Rockstar directly. You could even add a link to this list (if you wanted).

Current (major) issues in Creator 1.67
- When issuing creator suspensions or bans the reasons for this are not made clear enough (other than breaking the terms of service, we don't know in what way or where). While we respect a certain amount of anonymity for people reporting genuine issues it's very difficult to change behaviour if you don't know how you're behaving wrong. This has led to creator no longer being able to access their creations despite not knowing why.
- Most older combat jobs (KOTHs and DMs) with team forced weapons had their weapons changed by update 1.67 as weapons appear to be in a list so each time a new weapon is added within that list any weapon after it is changed in older jobs.
- Templates are buggy. If you select some props that was placed via a template they will disappear but your prop count won't decrease (reported by ddaayne). Coloured props placed by using templates often change to the Murcia colour and cannot be changed after (even after reloading the job).
- (Online) Players are unable to join invite only sessions on PS5 and PS4. Clicking the PS notification does nothing and accepting in game creates a "you need a invite to join this session" message (is this how it's broken? Can't remember as I just don't use). Inviting message groups work on PS5 though.
- On E&E LTS now save past the 200th prop however templates can't be placed after the 200th prop is saved. Regardless the 300 prop limit should be extended to all game modes.
- On E&E and HSW option for off-roads in lobbies isn't available despite this class having HSW vehicles post 1.67
- When testing combat jobs with restricted respawn points (either teams or modifiers) when you get killed and respawn all inputs don't work; you can't move, fire, bring up the weapon wheel etc only bring up the test menu to end the test. Modifier specific restrictions also don't work in creator (the same was true of team restrictions but this changed after 1.67).
- The team swap functionality is unusable for jobs of asymmetry which have team specific vehicles (online ignored totally, in creator the opposing team become tanks). Even less drastic modifiers like outfits or team specific respawn points don't work in the creator (and if they don't work there it's hard to have the confidence they'll work online).
- In Special vehicle races all special vehicles are available regardless of any locks the creator has set.
- When setting a prop to "locked" so it can't be deleted then placing a template the first prop in that template will be locked in the "locked" state so can't be deleted.
- Setting weather options for stunt races isn't possible.
- Captures - setting a team respawn zone onto props, even above water, doesn't work. Worse, team respawn zones generally often aren't visible when placing in creator. They also can't be tested within creator as invicility is forced on.
Bugs
- Playlists are bordering on unplayable with the length of time between jobs becoming excessive. If a player joins or leaves when on a end screen (between the job ending and the lobby screen) or start screen (after the lobby screen but before the job name comes up) then the playlist often gets stuck for 5 or 10 minutes while the player joins or leaves. If a player leaves the playlist the lobby still in the playlist has to wait for the player to land in a alternative lobby before the playlist to continue. Additionally when a player joins in the lobby screen they occasionally get stuck in a "joining" state for the host for 2-5 minutes, again adding time to the playlist time. In playlists of often 10+ jobs this leads to much wasted time, especially for the creator community which consumes UGC content in this many regularly.
- When using prop rotation advanced options in the world view it should be possible to control the rotation, pitch, roll and yaw of the prop. Currently only 3 of these can be controlled.
- In KOTHs setting the target score to off will be ignored on save and default to 60.
- The biker melee mechanic is missing from LTS and captures.
- In the "new" deathmatch creator when testing actors testing the job ignore weapon modifiers and team 3 and 4 don't spawn when testing.
- Social Club - When viewing next-gen playlists clicking on a job incorrectly shows a link in the form socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/ps5/jobs/job with the platform ID inserted. However this link is invalid so if a user were to share a link user the address bar it's invalid.
General Suggestions
- The ability to create in new areas of the map particularly Cayo Perico (but please also the ability to fixture remove trees).
- More user friendly features such as a; Undo button (Someway to undo any placement, deletion or edit in the creator), the ability to save jobs already published without republishing (ie if you don't have time to fully edit the job you can save your partial progress and return to it later)
- Advanced option placement for the base prop (first prop selected when you make) of templates
- Although additions to the creator are always welcome a large amount of arena props were left out of update 1.67 including large buildings, the sprunk can, water tower etc and would be hugely welcome added.
- Props missing from certain game modes is increasingly messy and confusing eg stunt set pieces for open wheel tracks, speed boosts in all combat creators despite the new options that allow far more vehicle use in combat jobs. All added props should be available in all creators.
- More props! With the removal of "modded" props after 5(?) years of these being used widely update 1.67 only made creators more frustrated by how much content is held back. Things like Windmills (and other dynamics), sport props such as Skateboard props, UFOs. Props with more realistic textures are also much requested (such as grass / dirt for off-road races, brickwork, wooden) which could be added to existing props as a colour option(?).
- Lock down presets (e.g. force non-contact, force team deathmatch, force 4 teamed deathmatch, force noon) in the creator. Ir at least allow number of teams to be set as a default.
- When placing a prop with local placement and a clamped X, Y or Z the advanced placement should be defaulted on for the next prop and the clamped position(s) set. This would allow props to be placed precisely level with each other easily.
- When placing props placed via advanced options picking up reverts the rotation option of the prop (and sets advanced options to off). This would be infinitely better if there was at least an option for rotation settings to copy to the picked up prop too so props can be placed at the same angle easily.
- Ability to delete props below a certain Z axis as it's far too easy to lose a prop below ground. e.g. Delete All Props > Delete All Props below ... in Z axis > set value > this will delete 7 props are you sure?
- Increase the text size for large descriptions (text could be scrollable?) so those with sight difficulties can read the text (accessibility issue)
- Ability to change combat jobs between LTS, King of the Hill and deathmatches. It'd probably be more consistent and user friendly if this was streamlined into a single race creator and single combat creator.
- Drunk and "high" effects for races and combat jobs to be set during a lobby screen and drift tyres for races (and on placed vehicles in combat jobs, such as vehicle hills).
- In pre-lobbies more should be visible to hosts like the mini-map currently is such as; restrictions for each class in races, time limits in LTS & captures, modifiers in deathmatches particularly those placed on the scores.
- Ability to make playlists on social club
- Add tick box selector to jobs for quicker management of them (e.g. being able to delete a lot of bookmarked jobs at once quickly)
Race Suggestions
- List item 1
- Fixing small grid to motorcycles or cycles is outdated. Since game launch it's been possible to set a small grid and still allow all vehicles and with the ghost to first checkpoint option especially supporting this officially would be a huge welcome change as fitting 30 player grids especially off-road or in tight areas is near impossible. 30 players should essentially be able to do any race especially in non-contact and this is a major impairment.
- Ability to set forced & pickups, owned weapons for GTA races, similar to combat jobs. Option in lobby and creator to disallow people exiting vehicles in this mode too. For most pickups only is enough carnage without people exiting their vehicle and using owned weapons.
- Ability to set "opposite mode" such as that used in the first dose mission.
Combat Suggestions
- Vehicle deathmatches are now partially supported with the ability for players to spawn in deathmatches. Add the special power-ups from this mode to the deathmatch creator!
- Power-ups available in adversary modes would also make a useful addition (such as reversing the opponent's left/right).
- Add a "mercy" scoring for KOTHs and DMs so if the difference between the teams placed first and second exceeds a certain value the job finishes. The target score is far too limiting as it fails to take account of the number of players in the lobby (easily), cannot be set high enough in many KOTHs and DMs which use multiple points for certain events and has never been fit for purpose.
- The timer for deathmatches & King of the Hills would be better more granular (eg 6 minutes, 7 minutes etc) particularly between the 5 and 15 minute mark. This is especially true given the huge array of modifiers available in deathmatches now.
- Make the score for each team visible in the bottom right for limited life deathmatches. Currently it's very difficult to know which team is in the lead.
- Modifiers for King of the Hill jobs, similar to deathmatches. Particularly for the person carrying bags in King of the Hills to change health, weapons or map indicator as the current "set run off" type modifier often feels overpowered.
- Add a different icon / gamemode name for limited life deathmatches which often play (and feel) hugely different to regular deatmathes.
Legacy Issues
- This job contains invalid data and needs to be remade: Jobs with props or triggers under the map (in some locations just under a certain level e.g. near sea level) need to re-made, seemingly in an attempt to prevent exploitative glitches. This entirely breaks a large number of entirely harmless created jobs with a large number of false positives from this too. Please reverse this change with the ability to report a job for exploits on the post job screen instead. (Workaround; See CCC_010 's video to re-make job. Editing the job will also remove all plays and likes from the job.)
- Missing vehicles: A large number of vehicles are missing from each creator (and it differs slightly between each creator). GTA Capture vehicles are particularly heavily affected (see huge list, thanks sleepwalk1980 ). Please add all vehicles to all creators.
- Spawn points don't take account of line of sight or height differences so placing at different heights is far more tricky than is should be despite these spawns being safe to do so.
- Downvotes should only count when a player purposely leaves a job via the use of a menu and NOT when they disconnect from the job (console issue or disconnections).
- A manual toggle to climb and go down ladders rather than an often unresponsive & unpredictable automatic toggle.
- Invisible timer on Captures in-game
Fixed OR Unknown Status
- The test mode map is different than the in-game map. (e.g. some fences, like the airport fences, are open in test mode but closed online). I think this depends if you load into creator via story (where everything is in that state eg minus bunkers) or online.
Links
