I think you're one of the most creative creators Flens so I hope you don't take the criticism too personally especially as the hosts use another of your jobs only the next week it clearly wasn't that bad. I really like that you're often trying something a bit different that's often not been done before with each job, not everything will work perfectly but it makes for a far more interesting set of jobs to play. I've watched the stream and can see your point, it's not how I want other crew members commenting on each other jobs as not every job will be fantastic but there's (almost) always a redeemable aspect or some part of the job that does work well. Crew events should be a safe space to try things out even if ideas aren't perfect especially first time. 

I've actually learnt a lot from more negative comments as it really is a invaluable insight into what isn't working from a more discerning voice (for example I've had a DM I made years ago raged at for allowing too much shooting from high points with a 10 minute whine/rage about being "shot from everywhere", albeit outside GCCC, which then made me think far more about that in the future and definitely made me a better creator). I'm not excusing the destructive comment totally but there's usually something useful in there to learn from. Although the more useful bit in this was talked over the upper wall is too low that allowed the BMX team to bunny-hop to the next level immediately I think (skipping an entire circle round) which caused the naff "this sucks" comment. Heavy Snipers and more obstacles for the bikes would probably help balance too from what I saw.

Hands up, I'm the culprit who spoke out of turn and who now feels like a real git.

I suck at BMX and suck at sniping, I am also overly competitional and start whining like a bitch when things aren't going my way. Anyone that watches or plays with me can attest to that.
This frustration of losing so quickly and at the unusual speed of one player on a bmx lead to an inaccurate and unbecoming outburst which I regret.

A. Main thing, shouldn't have said it.
B. Inaccurate, unhelpful.
C. Played a ton of your jobs recently and added many, I am a fan.
D. Although I've created for a long time I know I have a linear perspective and can only create a certain way, you are a better creator than me!
E. The job was new, untested, like you say feedback, not the bollocks I came out with.

Anyway, I apologise, I hope it's obvious from the above it's a genuine apology, I'm not trying to dodge my own bad judgement.

It's not the lads fault and I hope this doesn't impact this event, it shouldn't. If your still upset with me I can abstain from the event. Although I'd rather not, I want to play your job!

Flensation you're a great creator bud, I think what didn't help is we had two people who are legit pros at BMX going faster than the hotring on the banking section. I think if you made another tier could solve the problem. HALC_187 takes a big guy to admit when they're wrong, but I personally have legit improved over the years of watching your criticism. ( Unrelated to what was said on the stream not even watched it I know I was on the stream but my mind is a bit foggy) If you look at say candycained compared to sst 6 onwards much of that evolution was taking the time to listen to veterans like yourself learning what props are bad etc sst9 is actually based on your criticism when you mentioned lack of corners on theicide journey.

Hi Flensation , I perfectly understand your feelings/opinion - and I also understand Halc's reaction.
I watch many many streams and realize, that there are cultural differences between our communities. Logically!

I.e. our US- and sometimes also British friends (and other cultures) swear often and in a very 'juicy' language. "You f*cking c*nt", "that faggot", "this job sucks", "d*ckhead", "you suck" is common sweet talk. I had to get used to it a bit and am not a fan of this talk (being female doesn't help either) but hej, we're all just human and if that's the way we talk, okaaaay. I call it 'neo-tenderness'.
And it's leisure time, not a job. Time to relax, not controlling what we say and how. Halc even excuses himself when he used a 'harsh' expression. Us Germans are probably just more 'dry' or boring (?) in our talking.

When my jobs (esp. those weird non-racer-races) are played I
a) realize, that our gentle hosters most often rather say nothing - it shows they really don't want to complain or
b) say constructive critics directly mentioning my (or another creator's) name.

But if emotions go high, I try not to take it personal. I try....

And I'm soooo grateful that you guys care and prepare and host and stream....
