Banger Race
GCCC is proud to announce a new set of Verified jobs from 2021, adding to a roster of jobs. These can be thought of as the best jobs GCCC has to offer as voted for by crew members. They've made it through individual events, into a "best of" and fared well against their peers. These jobs are currently showcased in GCCC's Got Talent, as well as receiving a "GCCC Verified" label and fancy forum badge.
There's still a considerable backlog of jobs to verify from previous years that we are slowly planning on working through over the next few months. To save on time jobs may be without longer style blurbs (other than those provided by the author), if you have something lovely to say, or a video or stream (with time stamp please!) then please add something in the comments or on GTALens.

In a course likely inspired by Broughy's random pain track this prettier version soon gets delightfully clogged up with the longest and silliest raceable vehicle in the game. A simple cross-over route but a excellent example that keeping things simple in Bangers is often best with the jump cross-over sure to ruin someone's race, just hopefully not yours. With the unique vehicle choice and well built course with some nice artistic touches this is one sure to put a ragey smile on your face.

The cleverest face-to-face (ish) style jobs I've played with the Panto having to navigate down a small central alley. While regular face-to-face's delight in their simplicity this takes it up a few notches with various ramps with boosts to avoid the carnage and the more chaotic lower route with narrow ramps and gaps to weave between. Perfectly suiting the Panto this is a rare face-to-face that remains enjoyable in GTA mode.

You just need to drive half a mile one way and back. How hard can it be? Very is the answer with the bouncy suspension of the Donk pushing you every which way but forward and the oncoming Donk army not exactly helping. Getting that clean run when you get just enough momentum and just the right amount of luck is immensely satisfying and this is a good example of matching a track to a rarely used but loved vehicle.

As Tim works his way through teaching us shapes this probably delights the most in terms of Banging carnage with the four-way crossover track looking rather delightful at night especially suiting the Issi Sport which is able to take the relatively tight turns at near full throttle. The rest of the track is relatively raceable and learned quick keeping the field tightly packed until that all too dangerous crossover.

The Ruiner 2000 is one of them forgotten vehicles, not freemode safe or particularly useful either it's jobs like these that it really finds it's home in. Smartly built and wildly colourful face to face with the middle jump section the cause of all the carnage. There's just enough time to boost then jump through but mis-time just one (or get hit) and you're in for a world of pain! Nicely built banking at either end but it's really the carnage in the middle that sets this one apart.
