Hello everyone. If you’re reading this you’re invited
to My showcase 7pm UK, Noon Canadian, 11am PST. Sunday Jan 9th.
Here’s some Details on the races
1. Quickie stunt:
It’s an easy stunt race me and peaceful red made,
It started as just a throw away project, red was just showing
How to make loops and I decided to connect the two loops we dropped
Its a nice mix of stunt racing and touring racing.
2. Hotwheels stunt:
Another easy stunt. This one being based on a slot car
Track I seen on amazon and old school hotwheels tracks.
The banked turns offer some challenges especially right before the bridge. The fight for traction coming off that bank is real. Its not over complicated but just enough to keep you thinking. Better bring some canadian dry on this one.
3. Figure hate 2:
This is a tight densely packed figure 8 with jumps in the intersection. Its like being bashed by waves at the beach but instead of water its cars. There’s a single rocket spawn in the middle for intense GTA races. This one I’m real excited about. Its really fun with randoms. Whether going for the win or just ramming people for fun.
4. Wtf1 go karts:
A multilevel go kart track built in a parking garage. Inspired by tight go karting tracks and wtf1 youtube videos. This track is a bit challenging with how tight it is. Theres lots to get hung up on. A clean fast lap feels very rewarding though. Will make you more concise in steering.
5. Itchy vinewood GP
A large sprawling circuit that has lots of straights, a few bridges
And Some technical turns. It’s a good touring circuit.
6. GT66 touring circuit
A large touring circuit with fast sweeping turns. I basically wanted a good slipstream track that wasn’t an oval.
7. D-wae speedway.
A low banked bullring short track D shaped oval.
8. Rold gold roval
A banked roval with a oval lap then a bus stop style roval lap. The merging of people coming on and off the bus stop makes for some interesting racing.
9. Snyder speedway
A wide banked oval. Lots of room to maneuver. Characterized by the bridge in the back stretch that provides access to the grand stands. And the steel gaurd rails that gate the starting line. Its a fun medium sized oval.
10. Street race - walker
Street circuit Influenced by the street races and midnight club. Its also a tribute to Paul walker. It’s got some shortcuts. It was a good exercise in checkpoint placement.
11. Industrial rallyx
A rally x that’s centered around the construction yard.
the idea is someone can jump up the scaffold and someone can go underneath, it gives the track a 3rd dimension while adding some space for more racing. Its a bit of a banger, some intersecting. It’s unique.
12. Mostly dirt
SST paperclip oval with jumps.
13. Sprunk GP
Touring circuit built as a companion track to spunk 300. its what I did instead of making a roval. Its got nice sweeping turns, hairpins and a bit of a hill on the starting line. Its not too complicated.
14. Sprunk 300
My first oval with transitions to flat. Its a intermediate size.
It’s the smoothest oval I got. It’s got a nice feel to it.
15. Mcqueen 2
My most played track. Its a talladega style super speedway oval.
I constantly change the classes on it, so no matter what, it never gets old. The corners have some interesting barriers on the inside. I went unconventional with it but it works surprisingly well. People really responded well to this one.
16. Moscogee speedway roval
The name Talladega is a Moscogee native american word, thats why the name. Its a d shaped oval with no transitions and a road course. One lap oval, one lap road course. This has a oval version aswell but I figured I’d use this version as a way to show off both the oval and the roadcourse.
If anyone cares to try any of them before sunday here’s the
