GCCC Verified 12
(2020 - Set #6)
GCCC is proud to announce the return of the GCCC Verified system for 2020. These can be thought of as the best jobs GCCC has to offer as voted for by crew members. They've made it through individual events, into a "best of" and fared well against their peers. These jobs are currently showcased in GCCC's Got Talent, as well as receiving a "GCCC Verified" label and fancy forum badge.
The jobs between this set of verified jobs and our last set are in a backlog that we are actively working through.
Races
Banger Races
!_Grand Banks Serpent_! by dangerawesometoe (Video)
A large slippery wooden banked course provides the perfect surface for chaos especially with the turn around half way through the lap meaning they'll be plenty of head on collisions too. Sensible restrictions in each class ensure good replay potential although muscles is a particularly well suited car selection. Absolute carnage!
Off-road Races
}t{ B!!TCH Cassidy 4x4 #1 by theicide (Video)
A rare off-road trail course / rock-climbing experience that will test driver skill as well as patience especially with the throttle control. theicide 's usual inventive prop work and course layout is at it's finest here with outstanding use of a difficult area to create a genuinely unique challenge. Course time around 8-15 minutes, depending on class and skill.
Construction RX by theunderthaker (Video)
A rare city based rally-cross circuit suiting the slower classes particularly well weaving around the construction site with some stunt track additions. The hairpin section around the construction site will make or break your race, but care too must be taken around the later chicane adjacent to the joker lap. Short & technical RX.
Open Wheel:
Epsilon Circuit by RyuujinJakka (Video)
F1 race's largely underwhelmed the racing community but this build sets to change your mind. A fun mixed course around the City that manages to re-use a well-trodden area yet create a new route with a few custom track sections; well-smoothed throughout and with enough hairpins to keep the race interesting (and re-charge that boost) even with the very grippy F1 cars.
Pure Races
 Alleyway: Vespucci by agrajag (Video)
Inspired by "The Vespucci Job" adversary mode (one of the better adversary modes, well worth checking out) this narrow circuit makes use of almost every inch of Vespucci, particularly the tight alley's around the Canal's and beach area. Defaulted to the Issi Classic although adrenalin lovers may prefer the fast-paced Motorcylce option.
G77 - Stockton Blue Grass by ganz77 (Video)
Tracks at the airport rarely feature this many elevation changes, or have such a consistent fast flow to them. A mostly wide open track with uncluttered apex's mean it's subtle throttle control necessary with few hard breaking zones, a recipe for pushing for every inch you can knowing that any mistake will see you fall way down the order.
Stunt races
(Tj) Ridin Strikers * by VASCONI_ (Video)
A nicely smoothed track to the South of the city leads up to the usual level of excellence with a automatic multi-coloured stunt leading to a twisted wallride. Suitable for all thanks to the excellent build quality of the flips landing perfectly each time. T20 stunt only.
·MonsterTruck@Momentum by ToniFred82 (Video)
Airport tracks just aren't meant to be like this; your wheels will barely touch the floor as this race utilities just about every rooftop in a heavily stunt propped course for the Monster Truck (but also particularly good in the Contender, particularly for those with a aversion to Monsters). One of the most inventive courses in GTA that manages the rare feat of using an area yet creating a entirely new experience.
Stunt Races - Old School
(Tj) Rockford Dorset by VASCONI_ (Video)
A particularly notable wallride into tight spiral onto that main street of Downtown Vinewood is the standout section but it's impressive when a stunt job manages to fit perfectly within an area without remotely feeling forced and spoiling the fast flow of the race. T20 only and moderately easy to complete for most players.
Combat & Other Jobs
King of the Hill
HTF: Torture Box by agrajag (Video)
Continuing the small the tortuous theme from earlier from the same creator this unusual King of the Hill with non-fixed hills takes place in a extremely tight area at the Docks utilising the containers for players to climb over, as well as the tight alleys to try to hide in. Predominately shotguns with Marksmen Rifles on the cranes. Created for 1location4all.
HTF: Dark Maze by GoldGun (Video)
Another tight container battles, this time taking place firmly on the ground with the brown container providing plenty of cover points while the central hill focuses the action, often into a fast paced high intensity battle from them all important 3 points per tick (while the bags have to settle with 1 point per tick). Due to it's focused layout unusually well suited to team smaller lobbies as well as faster paced full lobby action. Mainly Combat PDW's with some limited explosives.
Deathmatch
[M^M] The Purge 2020 by mixedupmike (Video)
A traditional indoor RnG for the Carbine Rifle well suited to night time thanks to the light props well suited to Halloween themed events thanks to the consistent orange colour scheme and making this the gold standard for RnG creations that follow using the smaller stunt props to filter action providing very few 90 degree angles suited to cover behind effectively, while also keeping vast open spaces to a minimum.
Last Team Standing
*Pf 46* Kamikaze ! by parodifumi (Video)
KABOOM. 2 teams on aircraft carriers battle it out in this rare air based LTS that still manages to leave a few viable tactics open; the obvious air combat but also using the APC / anti-craft trailers back on the ships as well as sneak foot attacks around the back of each aircraft carrier. Noteworthy for it's using the more interesting DLC vehicles as well as explosives in a LTS that still manages to produce consistently tense balanced gameplay.
