GCCC Verified 11
(2020 - Set #5)
GCCC is proud to announce the return of the GCCC Verified system for 2020. These can be thought of as the best jobs GCCC has to offer as voted for by crew members. They've made it through individual events, into a "best of" and fared well against their peers. These jobs are currently showcased in GCCC's Got Talent, as well as receiving a "GCCC Verified" label and fancy forum badge.
The jobs between this set of verified jobs and our last set are in a backlog that we are actively working through.
Races
Banger Races
Ğ74 Autobahn by geenopa (Video)
Verified as a GTA Race. Highway travel has never been quite as fast, chaotic or often funny. Traffic recommended just for the sheer insanity of seeing AI trying to drive on the boosts and the inevitable high speed spins that occur. Get in a traffic jam? Finally a solution to blow everyone else up who dares get in your way. Those with unresolved road rage encouraged.
M€TRØÞØLì$ by o_ManOfFire_o (Video)
GTA Mode available. For those disappointed in the lack of new creator areas to dip their toes into there's really only one solution; build your own. This white walled Metropolis provides a new futuristic type feel with a high risers looking on at the below carnage. You won't have much time to take in the sights though with a interlocking track meaning you'll be seeing plenty of the various parts of other people's cars flashing across your screen (or a mere black screen in GTA mode). A great start to a great series.
Stunt Races
(Tj) F1 Open Wheel Stunt by VASCONI_ (Video)
When F1 style cars were included in GTA Online there was only one thing to do with the grippy monsters; push them to their limits of traction, and so too the possibility of GTA physics. This wavy long wallride will take you past bemused planes way above the streets of Los Santos before a unlikely turtle slide. Even with the complex angles the stunts mildly difficult at worse thanks to the ultra grippy BR8 which ensures the stunt flows naturally with the short street circuit below.
Stunt Races - Old School
EXTREME-STUNTS ACCEL by mysticbroly (Video)
Autarch only, low spoiler (first in LS customs) or stock recommended due to different hitboxes for other spoiler models. A welcome return for one of the true masters of stunt creating.
"I for one can tell you that broly never creates for the sake of things and he puts everything into a creation, spending weeks to months just trying to get things right ! Better yet, he hardly ever uses templates and most things he builds are built piece for piece. The line ups are perfection and the flips are on point!" CL-Longman
Off-Road Race
MAY-Sunset Shadows-WRC by infpmayhem (Video)
A unusual excursion to the beach is welcome enough but it's really the use of light that makes this job shine (pun intended). With some beautiful touches creating a mini desert at sunset feel while well lit columns light the way around this familiar location near Fort Zancudo. One the best examples of what the very best creations can do in GTA; treading where many have gone before but able to add a new spin (only while reviewing did I realise this is around Fort Zancudo).
Pure Races
Vinewood H789 by PoisonSting512 (Video)
A technical assault along the tight roads of Vinewood Hills particularly well suited to the slower classes (Coupes, Sedans, Muscles) propped to a high standard throughout while the stunt track pieces add a new twist to the area without adversely affecting the flow or feel of the track. The long straight to finish ensures you'll have to put a little thought into vehicle selection to ensure you have the control and top speed combo to thrive.
Ğ05 Mt.Chiliad Hway South by geenopa (Video)
One of the main challenges to a race using stunt roads in a existing area is putting together a road network that feels both "of the area" while being interesting to drive. This manages both in bundles with a windy mountain road hugging the side of Mount Chiliad as you wiggle your way down through some superbly smooth roads. Nothing seems straight making this a pure joy to drive in both directions with every turn requiring your full attention.
Combat & Other Jobs
Last Team Standing
 LTS: Four England by agrajag
Built for St. Georges Day this patriotic combat based LTS allows for a variety of combat styles to contribute; rush to Pipe Bombs, Sneak around with the Pistols or stay safely at range with the Snipers. The central Pipe Bomb focuses action being a massive advantage to those that get it but unconventionally placed at a crossroads sure to face competition by the other 3 teams. Built for those that prefer short-snappy gameplay often ending in a tense stand-off towards the end of each round.
BARBECUE OF THE GODS by dannyNATIVE
Melee in GTA is often a contentious issue, less contentious though is the visual masterpiece on show with a fiery small arena as you battle on a relatively narrow iron grates suspended above the fire pit. Sticking together as a team while also keeping on the move to pick up them all important health packs may be key to winning the round but it's well worth taking a moment to enjoy the visual feast on show.
Deathmatches
[M^M] Pot Heads by mixedupmike (Video)
A good example of a more sprawling map with gun fire coming from all angles particularly well suited to those adapt at more aggressive playing styles but also those teams that stick together to form a effective unit working their way around the map. The central hill may be hard to get to but can often be worth controlling while the large stunt props (particularly the stunt hills) are well used to provide multiple points of cover without impacting movement.
' Run And Gun Arena¹ by gilmore50 (Video)
A simple arrangement is often best in RnG deathmatches and this template serves well here with a map made almost exclusively from the newer race barrier props. However, this really allows the gameplay to shine especially with the created tight arrangement allowing players to weave in and out of the diamond shapes to grab that all important headshot with the unusual (for RnG style especially) default pistol. A valued lesson in a well-thought out arrangement producing quality gameplay.
King of the Hill
Domination: Nuxidoria by NerfThis_97 (Video)
A job that's easy to like thanks to lots of little details including plenty of tunnels for sneaking around and a particularly delightful water tunnel that allows you attack the more distant hill A with a ultra satisfactory swim. The more spread out map means each hill becomes it's own mini-deathmatch within a deathmatch and this is simply the best of this kind of style I can remember to date and a good blueprint for KOTH creators.
