GCCC Verified 9
(2020 - Set #3)
GCCC is proud to announce the return of the GCCC Verified system for 2020. These can be thought of as the best jobs GCCC has to offer as voted for by crew members. They've made it through individual events, into a "best of" and fared well against their peers. These jobs are currently showcased in GCCC's Got Talent, as well as receiving a "GCCC Verified" label and fancy forum badge.
The jobs between this set of verified jobs and our last set are in a backlog that we are actively working through.
Races
Bangers
·Bangers @ Docks by ToniFred82
Defaulted to Sports Classics with guaranteed chaos, starting right at the first chicane and through the rest of the course. A number of hard breaking zones and choke points ensure full on banging throughout while the neat propping provides eye candy as you get spun around. Unusual to see a course with no cross-over excel this well in Banging.
Vamos GP by dnbwarrior13
If you think the roads in your part of the world are bad this track will give you a new perspective as a series of rumble strips litter the traditional airport to torture the unique suspension of the Vamos. A unique challenge battling against the extreme curb-boosting while having little control. The start / finish straight bridge provides a great visual accompaniment to the action too!
Off-Road Races
R76} Paleto Bay Raceway by Roar-76- (Video)
One of the most scenic areas in GTA gets some much deserved love thanks to this purpose built track taking place mainly on track and stunt props interspersed with a few off-road sections of course. A particularly nice flowing track with wide banked turns along with a particularly satisfying jump onto the beach below. The tracks around Paleto Bay are hard to thread together into a coherent route so it's great to see it done so well here!
ÔćÔ RACINO RX by meatcoffee (Video)
The horse-track at the Casino may present groans of despair but be prepared to have those prejudices destroyed around a well constructed route around a familiar area. The technical tight sections around the Casino's carpark ensure only the most skilled will prosper while the fast section of the horse track ensure a number of cars can stay competitive here. Rally-cross suitable thanks to the clear joker lap too as a added bonus.
Pure Races
Ğ Waterworks Circuit by geenopa
The Casino to the sewers may be a familiar route to many Casino Heist experts however this adds a new twist with the usual Geenopa smoothness on show. A fast sewer section leads onto the usual Geenopa mountain twisting bends which ensure this race remains well balanced to those with high speed and those with high traction. Particularly well suited to Supers and Sports.
Heroes in the Zonah by agrajag
A familiar enough road network is largely kept to with the stunt roads but linked together in new ways with stunt props galore ensuring a smooth drive. While the opening long roads may suit those with the best top speed the later chicane (pictured) and hairpins keep enough technical aspects for only the best drivers to thrive here. Mainly locked to cars just below the top of each class
Stunt Races
#AFU Flip Your Issi by BennoAFU
Among the very best new era stunt creators this race makes it easy to see why; with a smooth opening course, stand out quality (and consistent as it gets) flips finishing in a moderately difficult wallride with twist. Silky smooth but also a joy on the eyes with a simple consistent colour scheme as you romp around in the joyous Issi. Non-super stunt races are quite rare making this one particularly enjoyable.
*[H041]SHIN NEN by hirohiro2245
A virtual themepark for just about every type of automatic bump, grind and spin possible as your car gets flunk in every direction possible while still falling in just the right place again and again. Plenty of "ooo" noises abound with each stunt before the simple Sandy Shores track sends you back round on the ride once again.
Stunt Races (Old School)
CL - Trojan Run by CL-Longman
Red barge spiral into single barge wallride into full barge loop. A moderately difficult stunt set around the familiar Vinewood Hills with a top notch build quality and unmatched flow that makes this particularly stand out. When you get to the point that you nail this lap after after lap it's hard not to appreciate this, so much you can even forgive the slightly odd hairpin / turn around
' U$ - × 420 BLAZiNG 2 × by un1ucky123 (Modded Props)
The wide city streets ensure the only thing you should be having difficulty with is the stunt. Comfortably one of the top (if not the top) "modded" stunt race I've played thanks to it's sensible use of the new toys the add to the race without ever detracting (or adding unbareable lag). Particularly joyous is the spiral into ramp where you have to steer your car in midair onto the upcoming wallride. It sounds simple but there's something very pleasing how this all threads together.
Parkour
Super Pool Sharks #2 by o_ManOfFire_o
Taking somewhere between 10 and 30+ minutes for most players if a parkour sea shark race doesn't sound weird enough one taking in quite as much of the city sites is sure to send your head spinning. Jigging and forcing props and checkpoints into place to allow seasharks to slide along the stunt tracks into quite as many pools as this is quite an achievement in persistence as well as creativity.
Combat & Other Jobs
Deathmatches
Port Facility by wan_kororin
Still setting the gold standard for deathmatch creations while continuing to innovate with a unique window design this map really shines using the dock area subtly to provide ambience without ever getting in the way of the fast paced action. The arena naturally encourages close teamwork thanks to the largely filtered action with a few converging spots naturally becoming the focus of the battle.
# The Village by kossmo (Banned)
Sticking closer to the Rockstar area this is one of the better uses of the Canal area for combat, with the raised floor looking the part particularly thanks to the created pathway effect. Gameplay is focused around the central bridge with the four main corridors converging into one area while gameplay on the outskirts tilts nicely for the sneaky to climb through various gardens and surprise the opposition ensuring that, despite the basic grid network, gameplay remains varied.
