New Commissioners & Retirements 16
GCCC continues to evolve, as we strive to "Create, Share & Play" with plenty of commissioner changes over the last few months it's time to give the retirees the send-off they deserve and welcome our newest commissioners properly.
New Commissioners
The most devoted new souls earn their rank by creating epic events and highlights, sharing reviews and streams as well as playing other crew members jobs and being helpful members of the creator community.
GCCC aims to be as inclusive as possible. If you’re looking to get that promotion, start up a unique event (or re-run an existing event with the current host’s permission), share some reviews and spread the positivity. Get involved in the diverse events we run on every platform (PS3 topic, PS4 topic) – the playlists are made by the host but the action is made by you.

New Leader's
Dr_Geo
As if his time isn't already full with hosting "Creator's Spotlight", "Material Pursuit", "Monster Truck Mayhem", "Pure Race Showcase UK re-run", "The Purge", "World Off-Road Championship (WORC) UK re-run" and co-hosting "Mini Meet" plus also being the main GCCC Facebook admin, Geo steps in to take the reins of the PS4 Crew. A regular streamer in all his events and many others to boot, The_Geo_Stigma is already a familiar face to many as he leads GCCC into its next chapter.

MR_NIICE (PSN: MR-NIICE-H-MARKS) has been a long time commissioner on PS3, and more recently on PS4. He is currently host of "Let's Have A HOOT", former host of "MotoGP Madness" and "Racin' in the Rain" on PS3 which have continued to bring enjoyment to last-gen creators far beyond reasonable expectations. As if that weren't enough, he is also host of "Racewars" and co-host of "Creator's Spotlight" on PS4, plus finds the time to help out with much-needed crew admin on the forums. He now gets a justifiable reward for all that hard work (and a lot more work to boot) as he steps up to lead the PS3 Crew.

Our former (and current) host of "Vanquish", former host of "Can You Build It?" (as well as frequently helping to run other events) is returning! Famous for his frustraingly addictive seashark races he'll now be helping with an even more daunting challenge...crew admin.

Starting by stepping up to co-host WORC and Pure Race Showcase, hanuman01 has quickly aspired higher. Being key in bringing our new affiliate crew (COXI) which integrated a new set of creators eager to enjoy & share epic race creations while adding even more events to his co-host duties; namely Monster Truckin’ Mayhem, Bangers n mash and Mini meet. His positive upbeat attitude have brightened up our events while his level-headed voice always ready to offer help and advice. He is an aspiring creator who we will be glad to have aboard, bringing us ever onwards.
Retirements
Even our commissioners, and even our leaders, are human (although it's sometimes it's easy to forget with all the effort they put into the crew) and occasionally need a break, want to pursue other interests or find other things getting in the way (you've got to pay for all that electricity to game somehow). Their work has made GCCC what it is today and it is on there shoulders we'll continue to build GCCC to be something even better!

Mandibleclaw157 became Crew Leader on the back of a tumultuous time for GCCC and provided the steady hand and calm leadership that was needed as order was restored. He started out by diligently compiling intricate league tables for "Racewars", stepping in as host after atheistsw resigned before starting "GCCC's Got Talent"; which ran almost every Wednesday for 104(!) events until March 2018. He was also instrumental in the conception and hosting - as often as his increasingly busy RL work-life allowed - of our Saturday Showcase event. He has been a valuable and reasoned voice in Commissioner chat and has led GCCC by his example, his actions and words always considering the Crew rules and our ethos. Eventually though, his work-life has gotten to the point where he can no longer commit to the rigorous demands to his free time that being Crew Leader entails. We wish him well for the future and hope to see him now and then in LS.

Long serving Commissioner and then Crew Leader on PS3, BlackDaemon is stepping down from leading the PS3 Crew. Taking the last-gen crew to a gentle & organised slowdown his infectious passion for all things GTA has continued the last-gen crew forward for oldhats as well as new players. Former host of "Let's Have a HOOT", "Thirsty For More", "Racin' In The Rain" and more(!), frequent co-host , crew admin & website moderator his commitment to GCCC has been exemplary.

Adam has been a key figure amongst the crew for years, in his time being co-founder/host of; TWOL & Banger n Mash. Long-standing host of Racewars, bringing the event to its current glory. Majorly inputting to the crew's forum admin work, acting as a sound voice of reason in conflict and positive upbeat character that will be sorely missed amongst the crew. Adam has graced us with many fantastic creations that many have enjoyed and saw him feature as a chosen creator in creators spotlight. We wish him well in the future and hope to still see him, and his cheery voice, around our events in the future.

"One-Armed and Dangerous" - something that's all too difficult to forget as he goes whizzing past you:p After bringing Raceday Wednesday to our American member's over the past year(s) now takes a break as other commitments take centre stage. A dedicated racer who should still be making plenty of appearances near the top of the podium.

So often the Last Man Standing (and occasionally the first man down) in Vanquish Loft finally feels the pull of real life. He leaves behind a legacy of unique, quirky & very playable creations as well as finding the time to host "Deja Vu" and "Vanquish". We wish him well in the going forward and hope to still see him, and his cheery voice, around our events in the future

Our longest serving commissioner (since August 2014!), having taken "Smooth Killing" from last-gen right into the next generation working tirelessly to bring the kill-fest carnage to GCCC's bloodthirsty member's in our longest running event before handing over to prototypetom to carry on the legacy. His commitment to GCCC cannot be overstated; showcasing a diverse range of blood-soaked maps with his unflappable laid-back coolness.
