@mahaloka , I can see how you might perceive our reservations as negativity towards your event or even you. But it really is not. We are a creator crew meaning we cater to creators fist. Our events are there to invite an inspire creators to create and share. Play comes at the end of our slogan for a reason. In the way you speak, Play is obviously right at the front. Your rules for example are all about play. Create and share is a secondary goal it seems. With every post you make lately, not just here but other threads too, you prove that you put play first. Not budging an inch from that and insisting the problem lies with commissioners who are "a bunch of ego's", proves that the creator crew ethos is not getting through to you. In repeating and explaining RACING rules in all your replies you show no sign of understanding what we mean by creator crew priorities.
About one of your posts under WORC; I agree with you that if you can not enforce a rule somehow, why have it? Only the good guys adhere to the blacklisted cars rule and lose to those who don't. I see no way of effectively enforcing that rule. I would like to see it go. Anther good reason to not have this rule is that it has nothing to do with the creation. It is there to cater to players. (more interesting car mixup. using cars not often chosen) Even the whole championship score-keeping is a player oriented thing which I would oppose to, if asked. I can see the appeal of having a competitive championship to measure racing talents. But we compete on creator talents here instead. And they don't go well together; To view a track properly all you need is the car that the creator recommended, non contact so you are not distracted by racing while viewing the tracks. And no rules on driving but rules on CP placement and proper propping instead. Can you feel the difference? And can you understand why there is hesitation to hold an event which is all about the racers and very little about the creators?
No-one has said you can't have a contact racing event. agrajag has been very forthcoming and even presented possible timeslots. We would just like to see a more creator oriented event instead of the NODO clone event that you are proposing. We are quite a unique crew in that sense. And there are many racecrews.
So please give the event a rethink. Make more space for creator priorities and you will see that our ego's are not the problem. If they were, we would be insulted by your accusations. Instead we are trying to have an open discussion, hopefully resulting in an event where all crewmembers/creators/racers come together and have great time.
