GCCC World Off-Road Championship #30
Season 4: Round 3 of 6

GCCC brings you its very own World Off-Road Championship.

A Bi-Weekly Multi-Crew event open to GCCC, Affiliates and Race Crews.
2 hours of crew member submitted off-road and rally inspired races.

GCCC Member Jobs get priority but jobs from non-crew members will be accepted.
Providing a best lap time tournament each season for those who want the challenge.

There are six rounds per season with each round consisting of 12 stages. Average of 6 minutes per track.

A special Creator Final follows with the seasons top voted tracks.

Event Time

This Round: Nov. 8th, 2016

European Event: Tuesday with KM86REDDEVIL @ 7 PM GMT (11AM PST/2PM EST)
American Event: Tuesday with theicide @ 7PM PST/10PM EST (Wed. 3AM GMT)

Add the hosts on PSN and join the party portal "GCCC Offroad/Rally Event Portal"

Crew Lobby opens at European: 6:30 PM GMT / American: 6:30 PM PST
Use Party Portal to join Pre-lobby or to get back in if disconnected: Off-Road/Rally Event Portal
Free-Aim Lobby used for better connectivity.

Event Format

12 Races across 2 playlists.
Laps set to an Average of 6 Minutes per track.

Each event should last around 2 hours.

Points are awarded based on your best lap time and not your finishing position.

Forum voting will be used for the best tracks of the round.

The best 3 tracks from each round go through to the Next Round.

The winning driver and creator are crowned at the end of each season.

Creator Finals

Each of the Six rounds will have a forum poll to pick your 4 favourite tracks.

The top 3 voted tracks from each round will automatically go through to the next round playlist.

In the event of a tie for third place - both third and fourth will go through.

The Number One race each round will automatically go through to the Creator Final in Round 7.

Event Rules

Please follow all GCCC Rules and etiquette.

No Crew lobby killing of any type.

No glitched/invisible clothing during playlists.
Please Play All Tracks before voting.

Points System

Points will be awarded to the top 5 best lap times for each track. Must not use a blacklisted vehicle to qualify. It will be the top 5 best lap times from both European and American events combined. You may attend both events to improve your chances. If attending both events, the best of the two lap times will be used. You must participate in at least 5 races from the event to be included in the Leaderboard.
Season 4 Blacklisted Vehicles.

Using blacklisted vehicles will mean your points are void for that race.

Off-Road: No Bikes (Sanchez & BF400) (except when locked)

Supers: All Supercars except (use only Sultan RS, Bullet or Voltic)
Sedans: No Schafter or Schafter V12
Motorcycles: No Street Bikes (e.g. Bati, Akuma, Hakuchou, Double-T, Carbon RS, Defiler, Vortex etc.) (use dirt bikes e.g. BF400, Sanchez, Enduro, Blazer, Gargoyle, Cliffhanger, Manchez etc.)

Points awarded to the top 5 fastest lap times for each track.
1st: 7 points
2nd: 5 points
3rd: 4 points
4th: 3 points
5th: 2 points
All other finishers: 1 point
DNF - Did Not Finish the race: 0 Points
DQ - Dis-Qualified for using a Blacklisted vehicle: 0 Points
DNQ - Did Not Qualify by participating in at least 5 Tracks: 0 Points and not included on the leaderboard.

Race Submissions

All tracks are raced Non-Contact only.

30 player races to allow as many crew members to join as possible.

Customs are used on most tracks. Some tracks will be played with Customs Off when suitable restrictions are made by the creator.

The top 3 voted tracks will automatically go through to the next round.

Winning races from the previous round will be set to Rain.

If a track wins 2 Rounds, then on the 3rd round the class is changed.

[PS4] Quarrel Control by some12hate
Short and Technical Mixed surface Off-Road track in the Quarry. Defaulted to Off-Road with Compacts, Muscles, and Sports also available. Turn customs off to lock each class as follows. Compact: Prairie/Rhapsody, Muscle: Gauntlet, Sport: Omnis/Tropos, and Off-Road: Trophy Truck/Desert Raid.
+ Good track title and detailed description.
+ Route is well laid out, technical and fun with crossover bridges.
+- Good Off-Road non-custom vehicle choices. Though I think Rhapsody’s will dominate the Prairie in compacts.
+ Great looking and well placed propping throughout.
+ Night propping is well done and think it should be defaulted to night.
+ I Like the Rock piles. Clean and natural looking.
+ ‘merica themed propping looked good and wasn’t overdone.
+ CP-8 Hairpin was well done with Target Prop.
+ Track pieces well used to smooth out sections, make banked corners and barriers.
= 5/5 Great route layout and propping throughout. Don’t see anything I would change.

Fight Tire with Tire by SZRT_CyberGawD
Mixed surface track around the Oil Fields. Featuring fast paced tarmac sections followed by fast dirt track. Defaulted to Muscles.
+ Great track title and descent description.
+ Good route with nice flow and works well in muscles.
+- Since Tire is in the title, I expected to see more Tire props. I think implementing the Big Tire props throughout would go nicely with the track title and the area.
+ Tall black barriers with arrows looked good and give clear warning of upcoming turns.
+ Jump at CP-11 worked great at bypassing the challenging chicane.
- Could use some barriers around CP-16 to protect from obstacles that can easily catch you.
- The wall along CP-23 Has a obstacle sticking through that can easily brick you if hit. there is also a small crevice between the track and wall in one section. I think adding a small ramp before the obstacle and filling in the crevice will make this area flow better.
+- A secondary checkpoint would be nice addition for the option of going around the the right side of the oil rig at CP-37.
+ Nice tunnel before the finish.
= 4/5. Fun route for muscles. Could use some better protection from obstacles in some sections and would love to see Big Tire props added.

Short Rallycross track locacted next to the Rons Wind Farm. Features a joker lap marked with secondary checkpoints. Most vehicle classes available.
+- Good track title but description is a bit generic.
+ Route is well laid out and propped well.
+ Good joker lap location that is easy to see the entrance for with the secondary checkpoints. Merges back nicely to the track.
+- Love the viewing platforms at the top of the wind mill and across the track at the exit of the joker lap. Though the cabins look great and easy to enter. The visibility out the dirty windows isn’t great for doing joker lap watch. I think it needs to be made easier to climb on top of the cabins. I used this track for World Rally-X and was joker lap watch. I had to park my car next to the cabin. Climb onto the car in order to climb on top of the cabin.
+ Fun off-road chicane at the beginning.
+ Route from Dirt to Freeway was well done and looked good.
+- Hairpin Turn at CP-8 has bit of a water barrel sticking through the outside barge barrier. It looks good but if hit the barrel pops out of the barge.
+ The red/white cabins used to fill in gaps of barges looked good and worked well.
= 4.5/5 Nicely propped and well laid out route. Minor prop improvements would make it perfect.

Sand Karts - No Bikes by opalescentfalcon
Fast and technical track with track, sand and a water crossing. Motorcycles will drown in the water crossing. Low Clearance Buggies can make it through if you get out quickly.
+- I Played this track before the stunt update and it was all on the sand. Now only about a quarter of the track is on sand and most of it now on track pieces. I feel The Title Sand Karts no longer fits and is no longer well suited for the Bifta. Now best done in the Trophy Truck and Desert Raid. Description is well detailed.
+ The route is fun, technical and nicely propped.
+ The Orange propping on the beach looked good. Nicely placed arrows. Fun little jump over obstacles.
+ Water crossing was fun and worked well in recommended Trophy Truck/Desert Raid. Bifta gets bogged down in the water and barely makes it through.
= 4/5 Fun and well built track for Desert Raid/Trophy Truck. Would like it better if it had more Sand sections.

Gargos' Adventurous Dream by juicy
Top voted track returns for a 3rd time.
+ I thinking sinking before the waterfall has now been fixed. Works pretty well now.
- You can still easily drown when first entering the tube on the right side around CP-9.
+ The slow down strips added before the big jump work well in getting you to line up straight for the jump.
= 4.5/5 With the continued improvements made and the more I play this track, the more I enjoy it. The only issue I see is the one section that can still drown you. Keep up the good work.

+- secondary checkpoints are added in some spots. Though some seem unnecessary and found myself sometimes taking the longer route.

RALLY SPORT SERIES No1 by quiet-Shadow
Mixed surface and terrain Point-to-Point Off-road track defaulted to Sports and all classes available.
- Generic title that I feel doesn’t match the terrain and class. Too rough to be considered a Rally and not well suited for the Sports class. More of an Off-Road Adventure than a Rally.
+ Good description that describes the route well.
- Too rough for defaulted Sports. Better suited for SUV’s or Off-Road. Also think Utility and Cycles many not be able to complete the course.
+- Interesting route but needs improvements in the flow
- All checkpoints are used and some areas are lacking in good checkpoint placement.
- The first corner past CP-2 is blind and nothing prepares you for the unseen obstacles and you can easily end up in the ocean. I suggest making it a banked corner that covers up the obstacles and prevents you from going into the Sea.
+ Route through natural tunnel was well done.
+ Natural jump onto platform towards island worked well.
- Hairpin turn at CP-8 on big blue platform has no props to help define where to go next. Needs props to make it obvious to make a sharp right onto the island.
- Crossing over to the middle island is rough and is easy to end going off the left side into the water. Perhaps slow down strips or barriers on the left side of the island will help.
- the route through the Rock props placed between CP 15 and 16 is not intuitive and easy to crash into. Perhaps just use track pieces or blocks instead to make the flow better and easier to see the correct line.
- CP-22 Chevrons point too much to the right and don’t direct you to the platform and jump. Another checkpoint is needed further down the train tracks before the platform.
- Route through Power Station was too technical with too many unseen obstacles hurting the flow. I think it should run around the perimeter and all the extra back and forth bits cut. This will give you the extra checkpoints needed fix other areas of the track that need them.
+- I like the extra trees added through the wind farm. However I didn’t like the way many of them were placed leaning. Looks unnatural and would look better if placed standing straight.
- CP-67 is pointing too much to the right and doesn’t direct you down the ravine. Another checkpoint is needed near the bottom of the ravine. Also move CP-67 further up to the entrance of the ravine.
- The final jump requires you to get a good run up in order to clear the gap before the finish. Perhaps adding boosts to the ramp will help and extending the landing platform closer to the ramp.
= 2.5/5 Interesting Route but needs allot of work to make it flow better.

Mixed surface rally track around Harmony. Defaulted to sports and can also be play with Motorcycles, Muscles, Off-Road, Sports Classics and SUV’s.
- Generic title and description.
+- Route was interesting and had descent flow. The sky track sections look a bit unrealistic floating above you when driving under them.
+ Good night propping.
+ Like the Hairpin turn in the Hangar made from Big Tires. Neat feature.
+ Tunnel made from Tires was also a nice feature.
+ Track pieces next to motel with row of palm trees blended well.
= 3.5/5 Interesting route and features. Floating sky track with no supports looks unrealistic.

Desert Rose by juicy
Off-Road Track outside Sandy Shores along the Alamo Sea around Stab City and Through the Senoran Desert. Built for the Desert Raid and Trophy Truck.
+ Good Track title and description.
+ Nice route featuring jumps, water crossings, and high speed sections.
+- Works well with defaulted night. Includes some props on fire. wouldn’t mind seeing more fire throughout the route.
- Pull back CP-4 before first jump back to the intersection. This will give you more room to get enough speed to clear the jump if you have to respawn.
- The angled barriers on the Ramps look good but if hit you easily go over into the water. Would be helpful if the they are vertical to slide against. Also the right side wing of the second jump, The corner could easily be hit if you land on the right side of the entrance. Probably be best without it on the right side.
- Tire stacks around pole at CP-6 are sticky to hit. I would remove the bottom one and raise the top one up the pole high enough to clear the roof of the Desert Raid/Trophy Truck. So they can’t be hit put still be visible to warn you of the pole.
+- At the water crossing at CP-9. Even though the arrow tells you to go across. It’s easy to assume to continue to head up the beach. Additional propping to direct you would be helpful.
+ Platform placed to make second water crossing shallow works well and like that it is not very visible.
+- Nice tube section. Includes some shallow water at first. Gets a bit deep though later on but can easily be avoided by riding the wall. If you exit the tube on ground there is a slow down strip to control you speed coming out. Works well. Alternatively you can exit riding the right side and continuing on top of another tube. Though if you follow the tube to the end it will overshoot you off the left side of the road. I think the tube could be pulled back a bit to ensure you don’t overshoot the road.
- The final Tube either needs be raised or lowered. If you hit the outside wall it could flip you over. making it lower will prevent this or alternatively it could be raised so you could drive along the side. Also there is a Tire stack sticking through the tube. I also noticed a couple other tire stacks behind the tube that are not needed. The terrain after the exiting the Tube is bit rough but I found it easily manageable. Alternatively there could be longer tube section connecting the dirt road to the tarmac.
+ Good looking start/finish Propping.
= 3.5/5 Nice and Fun Route. Could use improvements for better follow and perhaps more features.

Paleto Bay Rally X by masapy072
Rallycross on and off the beach of Paleto Bay. Incudes a joker lap by following secondary checkpoints. Also includes a pit lane with slow down strips.
+ Good Title and descent description.
+ Well laid out Route, Joker Lap, Pit Lane and Good Propping throughout.
+ Joker lap is straight ahead after start and is clearly visible with a tire gate and secondary checkpoints. Regular route is turning right before Joker entrance. Easy to navigate the Joker lap and adds about 10 seconds. Includes a viewing platform near the entrance.
+ Nice mix of dirt and tarmac. Off-Road sections are smooth and any class will work well on this track
+ Great looking propping on the beach.
+- Crossover bridge looks good and is smooth to go under and over. The wall on the left side under the bridge has a gap that I think could be re-angled to aesthetically look better.
+- Track Barriers placed on the outside corner of CP-17 are placed backwards and have posts sticking out that can catch you. Looks great but not smooth.
+ Pit lane is marked with a secondary checkpoint by taking the short route to the right before finish. Has slowdown strips and health packs are available during GTA mode (Currently unavailable)
+ Nice looking start/finish with Red/White smoke.
= 4.5/5 Well built and good looking Rallycross track. Only needs minor tweaks to be perfect.

GTA: Atomic Xero MX/RX by theicide
One of my first Rallycross recently completely overhauled with the stunt creator and now more focused towards Motorcross. can be played as Motorcross or Rallycross and includes a Joker Lap by following secondary checkpoints. Defaulted to night and motorcycles. Most classes can be restricted to a few vehicles when customs turned off. Featuring three tire humps set on fire that you drive under all three tires and then over the top of them. It can be a bit tricky going over the top and you can easily end up going off the side, if you aren’t careful. I thought about putting better barriers to prevent from falling off the tires but can’t come up with an idea that won’t ruin the aesthetics of the tires. Also featuring a big fire pit made from a tire and filled with burning wreckage and trees. I added secret routes on top the gas station in the joker lap and unto the fire pit. For spectating and GTA mode when it returns will include weapons for a Death Rally.
