Phew, it's been a interesting few days. A lot of things have been said and the commissioners fully appreciate everyone for getting involved. It's been difficult for all but it's important that we make sure that it's the last time we have this type of discussion. We want to play a game together for fun and remember what GCCC is: a shared ethos, a shared set of rules and a community.
Occasionally over the last few days a few of our rules have been "creatively tinkered with" (cough broken) during a few heated discussions. It hasn't gone unnoticed but we've largely let it go without major punishment. Why? Because we feel it's important that a group of adults can express their views uncensored as much as possible. It's healthy to express opinions and utterly fantastic you're all so passionate about the crew. We've heard what you've had to say and we want to ask you to give us time to change things! It won't be overnight, but slowly and surely, I hope you'll see that together we will get there.
There's a few things I want to ask of everyone reading this:
GCCC remains one of the most organised and greatest crew's GTA has to offer. That's due to all your hard work, be it those that attend events when they can or committed commissioners currently tasked with finding solutions to the problems discussed.
Some of the points brought up during conversations were excellent, need a LOT of thought about and we can only do that if we're not fire-fighting further issues. You've told us the problems and the commissioners will focus their attention on solutions. Please focus on things YOU can help with (e.g. give us some ideas, help a prospective host) and NOT on things you cannot (e.g. saying who commissioners or leaders should be as frankly that's a commissioners job!)
Keep the ideas coming anywhere you can - we are listening and working very hard behind the scenes on them. However do so respectfully and within our rules. That way, together, we will make GCCC great and accomplish something extraordinary.

- Respect our rules, and most importantly each other. In particular (from our rules):Be polite and respectful with other crew members. Disagreements will happen but keep them constructive and in private. If you're told you've offended someone apologise and move on.
- Keep having your say through suggesting things - feedback is great. We've had tons of it and are currently working our way through all the suggestions (sounding a bit like there I know hehe)
- Help each other out. There's perspective hosts looking for help with events, creations that need reviewing and tips to be shared. This a community but that only works if the people within it remember to help crew members out.
- To have fun playing a game. Enjoy it and let others enjoy the game too.
- Remember, at all times to uphold our ethos, our rules and respect everyone else within our community. You can't get on with everyone but you can show everyone respect.
