agrajag: Smooth Killing (kind of) includes 4 combat and 2 objective based jobs each week. Captures aren't really created anymore and LTS have been partially replaced by Deathmatches allowing limited lives and many other modifier settings now. Aug 6, 2024 19:56:17 GMT

agrajag: No old jobs are fine (you just won't be able to update them). The only exception is if you updated during a 2 week (ish) period when Rockstar changed them into blue barriers. Nov 20, 2024 15:14:28 GMT

Sunday Skool: Driver's Ed 7

Sunday, August 7th
6pm BST ~ 5pm UTC
1pm EDT ~ 10am PDT

Sunday School for Racer's returns!!!

This is a casual racing event, centered around pure races, races that are not stunt races!!

Format

The event is an around the room, testing session. We will test any type of pure race, find bugs, problems and offer suggestions on how you can improve your race! If your race is at a suitable standard already and you only want some advice, you can still participate! Share with us, we will offer support vocally, written in-game and on this thread.

FOR THIS WEEK ONLY; We are only looking to play race's created with the new stunt creator! There will be a playlist to give creator's a chance to test any already published race's in a larger lobby!
Submit any races on this thread or to Mandible_Claw- on this forum, PSN or the rockstar social club!

How To Participate

All you have to do is join the crew lobby which opens at 6pm BST, add jcast39 / josecastrejon or Mandible_Claw- on PSN, stating in the friend request ''DRIVER'S ED''. Message either of us in game or on PSN and we will compile a list of creator's for after the playlist ends. We will have around 90 minutes to test round the room so we will take as many name's as possible during the playlist as well!

Watch the Rockstar Social Club crew page for an update on who will host next amongst other information!

1.Go to the ingame phone or PSN.

2.Message jcast39 / josecastrejon or Mandible_Claw- '' yes''.

3.You will then receive a number in which your job will be played. e.g. 1st,2nd,3rd,4th...

4.You will 'invite all from last job' and 'crew members' and wait for josecastrejon to give you permission to start the JOB.

How To Join

Crew lobby OPEN from:
6pm BST, 5pm UTC, 1pm EDT, 10am PDT;

There will be a crew only lobby, from 6pm at the latest.
Join jcast39 / josecastrejon or Mandible_Claw- through the PSN menu or Rockstar's menu. Add as a PSN friend with a message of intent to join the event.
Join through the PSN party chat portal (GCCC: Driver's Ed Event Portal). Please leave the party portal once your in the lobby, to leave space for others players to enter!
Keep an eye on the Rockstar Social Club crew page for regular updates.

Playlist invites sent out from:
6:30pm BST, 5:30pm UTC, 1:30pm EDT, 10:30am PDT;

Look out for invites on your GTA phone from 6:30pm.
The playlist will be launched before 6:45pm.
Use any of the methods above to join the action.
You may receive PSN and RockStar invites from many crew members all at once.
In the event of a disconnection, join the event party portal! Join through jcast39 / josecastrejon or Mandible_Claw- or wait in a fresh session for an invite. Watch the Rockstar Social Club crew page for any updates.

PLAYLIST;

Event Rules:

If you are attending this event you must follow the rules to minimize disruption to other players attending and make it enjoyable for all.

All crew rules apply at all times.
No bulletproof or motorcycle helmets.
No invisible or glitched clothing.
No unusual clothing at all (police uniforms etc).
These break the game code and cause issues.
DO NOT fire any weapon of any sort or bring armed vehicles and police to the crew lobby/meet location.
NO Crew Killing; ACCIDENTAL or ''Daily Objectives'' this includes sending Muggers.
NO owned weapons during GTA races.

DO NOT intentionally ram people.

Any breach of the rules may lead to your participation in the event/crew being terminated.

To add further clarity while ideally we are looking for gp races so long as there are no wallride or loop de loops involved regular and occasionally jumps are fine.

Some suggestions for the playlist:

Special Stage - Desert by Frezyys - Worth a play for anyone else struggling to think of a use for the split checkpoints. Best original use I've seen as it's almost impossible to do a perfectly symmetrical split route like

did I think this kind of even lap idea is the way forward.

[PS4] Nag Reflex - The best totally in the air track I've played thus far. Neatly put together with a interesting + intuitive route.

Banana smoothie 2.0 by JojjeOkocha - Old favourite remastered.

Just finished updating my Zancudo River Rally-X with the stunt creator. I got two versions. One GTA and one Non-Contact depending on whether you want to run contact or not.

This is the track I've used with the sandbox race "Race of Champions" with a hugely bastardized ending and start grid to turn it into a lap race.
