Winners Wednesday June 2016

Raceday Wednesday has 4 or 5 winners each week. Those 4 or 5 winners will enter WINNERS WEDNEDAY at the end of the month to compete against the winning races of the other Raceday Wednesdays of the respective month.

Rules:

As these races have all won a previous event already it would be redundant to list all of the rules again. Here are some of the most important ones again:

- The host may not change any settings except for turning catchup and slipstream off, so make sure your default settings are optimal for your race
- No owned weapons in GTA races! Only use the rocket and speed boost pick ups!
– No party chat; please use game chat only as this is a closed crew event!

Raceday Wednesday Format:

2 playlists containing all the winning races of that respective month. These races will be hosted by CCC_010 at 20:00 GMT and 9 pm EST (02:00 am GMT) by Danner1620 for US time zone folks. Being active and joining the session will give you bonus points towards the voting system (see below).

Raceday Wednesday Voting Policy

ALL VOTES WILL BE MADE ON THIS SITE. They will be made on that particular weeks topic. Each member will get 4 votes.
Every attendee votes for their top 4 picks, regardless of which playlists these are in (so if your favorite 4 races were all in playlist nr. 2, you can vote for all of those 4 races).

Votes will be counted as follows:

1st pick = 8 Points

2nd pick = 6 Points

3rd pick = 4 Points

4th pick = 2 Points

You MAY vote for your own job, but honesty is highly encouraged. Having an objective view may be hard when you are emotionally invested but please be fair and treat your race as if it were a creation of somebody else!
Also I recommend writing a short review/remark about your top 4 pics, especially if you’re voting for your own race to get first place…

Votes WILL be visible for all to see on the weekly topic. Please include your PSN id if it differs from your name on here. You can also run Raceday Wednesday by yourself with your GCCC friends or others during the week and place your vote on the weekly topic. Just bookmark the playlist and off you go.

Voting closes at 13:00 GMT each Tuesday!

The winners will be crowned Tuesday evening!

1) R2 101 Rollercoaster #4 by _Gamer101_ - one of the most consistent coasters I've played. Excellent build quality. All of the flips land perfectly (if your car isn't damaged) and the routes kept super short keeping the stunt as the showpiece. Quality creation.

2) P40 - 360 Inward Flip by pforty - after quite possibly a million stunts it's really hard to come up with something new, yet here's something new! The 1st time I did this I thought it was some kind of troll race/

error, "Well this is never going to work". Amazingly it does, pretty consistently even in a full lobby. Routes short enough to keep the stunt as the showpiece and the stunts around the inward flip are nicely made. In terms of build difficulty clearly deserving of it's place in Winner's Wednesday.

3) FL57 The Weaver by Freakyleek - As near to a pure race as stunt races get. Great flow as the stunts largely match the shallow curves of the road below. Simple, good build and good flow.

4) Elgin Park by LancerEvoWRC - Another classic pure race from Lancers. Corrections made from my last review I think (CP 8 now 3 chevroned iirc) and just a great route + build.

C20 Spamtastic Spiral by Cambo (a spiral I can actually do!) and EXTREME-STUNTS KINSHASA by MysticBroly (stunts stunning as per usual but the routes overly long imo and CPs in the downhill section could be slightly better by placing them at the top of the crests where drivers need to make minor corrections on their way down) deserve special mention, if I could vote for 6 they'd make it. Great quality from the rest, picking a top 4 (or 6

) wasn't easy.

Im not able to vote but i just wanna say that this was a great winners wednesday.. all the races are absolutely insane. Shoutout to all the creators, all of u guys did an amazing job! All creations deserve to be Number 1. 😄

While my number 1 vote was a very clear choice for me, number 2, 3 & 4 were so difficult to choose this week, that I simply couldn't vote on them. Imo Nothical, MysticBroly, P-Forty and Bonig would have all deserved to be top pics. So one of them would have had to be excluded from the Top 4.So only a number 1 vote from the this week... abstained on places 2 - 4...

1) Elvita Adams
Top Notch high quality stuff here. What a lot of non creators and even creators are probably not aware of, is how difficult it is to make flips onto natural walls work this smooth. The normal process of building a flip is to first build the flip and subsequently reposition your landing wall (which is saved as a template) until the car connects perfectly. Usually done rather quick with minimal effort.
In a set up like this you can not reposition the landing wall (solid building wall, not a prop we can alter) and have to tweak your flip container, launch point of the flip etc. This is extremely fidgety and very sophisticated.

The whole race had a very nice flow and fast pace. From hitting the initial spiral until the very end of the stunt jaws drop on this one. Playing this one with a friend he mentioned that this stunt is simply "sexy". Can only agree on that.

As mentioned before extremely skillful and fidgety build (reviewed last week in my votes)

Nothical Infected
Great overall flow and a barage of perfectly built mid air flips. Extremely skillful build

Mystic Broly Kinshasa
Great overall flow and a barage of perfectly built mid air flips. Extremely skillful build

P40 Inward Flip
Amazing race with a great flow. Great sequel to TriggR_Happies version on the PS3. Amazing how consistant this works. Landing wall is positioned perfectly and the car transitions extremely smooth. A pure pleasure to drive and an absolute keeper for the bookmarks!
