Mini Meet 5 Thursday 25th February

I have a 16 player rally super special stage that would be well suited. It's not the most innovative of tracks and it's ugly as hell but it's given me quite a few hard fought close Battles with decent racers.

Quite fun on contact if you have savvy drivers, otherwise set to non contact and 48s is the lap record.

+Master of Symmetry+ by HiddenSaint27

++ Unique location, with precise propping, and functional weapon placements.
+- Not sure grenades were necessary, a single grenade pickup may have been all that was necessary. 
++Played very well, that's all to say about it


Madrazo's Wrath: Revenge by o_ManOfFire_o

+Solid, potent location for an LTS.
-Heavy weapons have no place in a pure LTS imo.
-weapon clutter- I think you should place weapons around the map rather than cluttering them on the map. This sort of placement can confuse, particularly if you have a mix of the same weapons type. (Sniper and Heavy Sniper in this instance.)
-standard sniper pickups, I think you should have 1/2 Heavy sniper placements per roof. The standard sniper is redundant.
-The amount of dynamic explosive props. Acceptable for a respawn game type, but a no-no for an LTS.
-Mandible got stuck in between two green containers. I think you ought to replace them with closed containers, and remove the gap.


MARS EFFECT *** by ShelbyGR

++Absolutely fantastic looking deathmatch
+Simple, but functional pickups (simplicity is so underrated when it comes to pickups_
+-Somewhat cluttered pickups
-12 players would be unsuitable for this map imo. We played 3v4, that was fine. 5v5 could work, but 6v6 seems like a push.

Rezylo Arena: Korvius by Zorvaine

+Simple layout with clean map, and unique selling point of a train that stops creating randomly generated cover
+- I think you should pull the weapon pickups out of the cabin like propping at each end, so it’s picked up in the natural flow and traversing of the map.
+Golden Faggio
- I’m unsure if 10 players is suitable/ I think 4v4 would be pushing it, 5v5 must be something else.


Top Gear Challenge by coachwargo

+Good concept
+balanced vehicles
-unbalanced based on team numbers
+- I think you shoold Make the score limit 1, and place a single bag, at the destination. First there wins, simple. Not who has the most amount of bags they can deliver.
-Even in it’s current format, the car team has an advantage, as they can run over the seasharks at the bases. If you stick with this current format, place some cars for the seashark team to take sanctuary in.

Farmland Warfare by GoldGun

++Significantly better than it was in it’s previous feature
+Good location, balanced teams
+-Respawn zones weren’t to my taste, I suppose it makes lives more important.
-Regular sniper felt a bit redundant imo, I think Heavy sniper could work better

L.S.Kartingclub #1 by @mahaloka

++ nice compact circuit at the airport
-defaulted to contact, but grid is unsuitable. Make it thinner, and make sure the inside line don’t have to turn just to actually fit. (Fortunately, we played it non-contact)
-CP9 and 10 were a little misleading imo. I think you should bring CP 10 closer, and forward a bit. Or, you ould just use one, and make it more like a single chicane. It’s currently a hairpin, directly followed by a right turn. (might flow better)

Incursion by Barnacles5034

++ Nice location with good potential
-Weapon placements could have been done better. Forced weapon was Combat Pistol, I don’t think I even saw anyone use it. Make the forced weapon SMG or AP Pistol (don’t use both imo). AP Pistol is better, but the game still thinks you want to use the SMG when you go over a pickup.
-Explosive props around the border of the map. Some of them have no apparent purpose other than to just “be”… a nuisance :/
-20 players is too much imo. 10 players was just manageable (This is in free-aim.)
-The prop clutter in the southern section, just made it awkward to move, while not slowing down the rate of death imo.

Super Special Stage 01 by jamiejohnward

++ Unique, potent concept.
-High props-apex props being the biggest issue. An Apex prop should not be any higher than a Tyre wall, if you can help it.
-invisible hit detection on the apex, If you must use that side, dip it in to the ground.
-Tyre walls on the exit of corners, in tight section (It’s even worse that these were blind corners too!) Start finish gate’s smooth surface could work. Of course it could look out of place, with the start-finish text. At very least get rid of the blind corner here. If you do choose to keep the tyre walls, alternate the black walls, with yellow walls (not to be confused with the striped walls). This way, you can tell where the props meet, and a potential brick wall could occur. (Might be hard to eliminate brick walls on both sides.
-The platform obscuring the final checkpoint was completely unnecessary, and took away some of the confidence racers should’ve had if they were able to see where they were going.
+-the bridge did work more like a ramp, I assume you didn’t want much airtime

+Nice location and atmosphere
-unbalanced teams.
== I think this setup would work better as a multi-team hold. 2 team contend, or a multi-team deathmatch

Sorry for the reviews being so late, I've been caught up with my A-levels.

Funnily enough, I think the team at the bottom had an advantage, as the top team had a very hard time trying to escape with the bags.
