I think it might be worth swapping Panto Addiction from the contact playlist, because: Vinewood hills. jameznash would Mountain Grand Prix be suitable for contact? Looks it, judging from the map.

I think it would be O.K. for contact, but Vinewood Hills is risky business.

RaceWars 37a (ELIMINATION)

Destruction Derby Night by jamiejohnward Didn't manage to catch this one tonight but did in Purge, and it now looks as though the jumps are slightly lower to stop high cars catching on the above bridge (or placed prop, can't remember which). The routes as simple as it comes (zig-zag) but this is done very well and was a great chaotic mess in Purge. The jumps maybe need slightly more space between them as it's easy to overjump the landing zone, particularly at the hairpin sections. 

WRC LIGHTHOUSE !!! modif by JULIA_bisoubisou. Again played in Purge, playing with rain makes this utter chaos with the waves spilling over the track, knocking the car from side to side and it's highly recommended in this mode (for those with a "sense of humour" anyway). Props are smooth, a few landing zones are into rocks but it's not enough of a issue to detract from the enjoyment. 

Running Leight by Mandible_Claw- Finished well down the order in this one but it's my clear pick of the first playlist. The steep banked turn (or shallow wallride) to place the rockets on is a very nice touch meaning destroyers have to take a long/ dangerous route round to get the rockets. A short overlapping route ensures chaos throughout. Smart idea designed very nicely. 

The Cruelest Intentions by Y2J_2264 Started in last place. From 25th(?) onwards you start in the below tunnel and with the 30 second destroy last place we had no chance to climb up to get into the race. Even respawning sent you back to the tunnel  Just need to replace the grid hopefully. Played before and this lives up to the name. Some very difficult tight sections on bumpy ground, although the vast majority of the route is well marked with appropriate "dummy proofing".  

Danish Tunnels .62 by stronktank The tunnel sections look great but I always have the problem in this one with the car park section. The walls are slightly jagged on the entry (with creator 2.0 they could be smoothed?) and on the exit it's really easy to catch the left stairwell over the crest. A good flow and over 15(!) laps I managed to catch up from last to just finish before I was destroyed, woop. 


RaceWars 37b (Non-Contact)

Aquarius Speedway by atheistsw Silky smooth banked turn and inventive barge section makes this race a little bit special. I wasn't a major fan of the CP 14 alley in Sports though, far too narrow to really feel comfortable in this class imho (but equally no idea how you could re-route it). The course has enough fast sections for you to feel that you're in a nice flow but enough technical points to make the move towards the brakes, which is just the way I like it Start position is into a tight chicane, would moving it to the CP 6 long straight be any better? It was hard to see exactly what was going on in non-contact early on atm. 

Intersection by jcast39 Hmm this was solid but looking at the map I can see this working very well in GTA in the Purge. Overlapping route but the repeating section at CP 7 in particularly felt too tight, most drivers "opted" to bounce off the outer tyre barriers. If you opened it up to GTA mode, and did away with the tyre barrier dividers this would open the course up to make it flow better and also the GTA element would really bring this job to life imo. Enjoyable enough as is, except for the CP 7 section. 

Black Mamba by MattSka98. A fun car to drive and attempting to thread it around the tight track was certainly a challenge! The course is nicely CP'd overall but the first CP is too close to the start from lap 2 onwards. Pull CP 1 back to make it visible from CP 23 (the new start) as the reaction time is too little atm. Also blocking the road on the left at CP 11 would prevent cars going down the wrong road here. Nicely propped throughout with major hazards propped out meaning the lively car didn't go too out of control. 

[PS4] E Depository by some12hate Ugh what was thinking with the Nightshade. Terrible handling but it looks gorgeous. Was going to add this to my garage purely for looks but not now! Nicely made banked turn section with a small circuit meaning you get to enjoy it a few times No issues with the props or CPs, just that car. 

Mountain Grand Prix by jameznash. Seen this general route a few times but the hairpin section adds something new. The start finish was too close to CP 1 to allow any preparation time on lap 2 onwards though, and some players who started further down the grid managed to get on the wrong side of the track here to make the turn. To solve both of these issues either CP 11 or 37 could work better as a start/ finish imo. Starting with a long run up to the first corner will allow drivers to space out (in theory) and prepare for the first corner. Course is well made otherwise with a good flow, should suit contact racing. 


RaceWars 37c (Contact)

Rockford Ring by lancerevowrc Excellent track. Really enjoyed this, and not just because I finished 2nd, undoubtedly helped by atheistsw spinning out early on and providing a chaos ball of metal and raging drivers for everyone else behind. Technical yet still provides a good fast route to get the power down. Perfect for contact imo, wide roads mainly but more than enough sections to get any overtakes done. 

Aeration by deejayb1874. By a control mile my favourite of the night, and given the high quality that's saying something. Had by far the best racing experience of the night around here, close racing with Y2J_2264 and Etchof particular highlights. The tracks very well marked with a bridge section adding some interest to a particularly dull area of the map. Pretty much perfect. 

Panto Addiction by most-C-wanted. Hmm not for me. Plenty of CPs hidden with plenty not visible from the previous CP and many un-CP'd turns, meaning you never have the confidence to get the accelerator pressed down. I never really felt guided around here, instead having to map read my way round while trying to race (unsuccessfully). It only needs a few extra CP's and a few CP's nudging back to improve visibility to make this race what it deserves to be.  

Los Santos Autodrome by thatguy11m Hmm I liked the route but became increasingly frustrated around here with the CP 6 turn. Every lap I entered it I arrived at a ongoing accident. The barriers on the outside feel too close and need pushing back to allow some room for side to side action. I'm not totally sure about the CP position either, with it around the corner slightly. Placing earlier would give a strong hint that early braking is necessary here and probably help prevent the kind of issues we had on the night. The rest of track has a nice flow (damn I say that too much) and the CP 14-20 section is technical but with enough run off areas to prevent major issues. 

-JJ- GPW-Pure Edition by jjn1lfc Not appropriate for contact racing due to the cross-over (CP 20 / 29) and the badly marked hairpin section at CP 25 (where drivers easily end up on the wrong side of the road). Bridge over the crossover and extend the barrier dividers much longer at the hairpin and you've got a excellent contact track. Route good with a long straight broken by subtle technical sections. A shame that the 2 issues caused such major issues (particularly the hairpin issue) as this track has a lot of potential. Also would CP 18 make a better start/ finish straight maybe, particularly with the nice split either side of the off-ramp later along this road.
