GCCC - RACING CHAMPIONSHIP

Welcome to the brand new GCCC - Racing Championship, designed to pit the very best pure racers in GTA head-to-head on some of the finest contact suitable racetracks our talented community of creators has to offer! Each week we shall race on FOUR tracks from a pre-determined seasonal roster observing proper contact racing etiquette and sportsmanship. This championship will be a completely separate entity to RaceWars and will offer a stand-alone championship table to compete within. If you wish to participate in this event, or just wish as to see a much more detailed breakdown of the rules, regulations, tiers and all other information related to the event, please visit the Sign-Up and Info Sheet. I ask that ALL event participants familiarize themselves with these rules and regulations to ensure there is minimal delay or confusion during the event itself.

Points will be awarded after each race as follows:

1st: – 15 Points
2nd: – 12 Points
3rd: – 10 Points
4th: – 8 Points
5th: – 7 Points
6th: – 5 Points
7th: - 4 Points
8th: - 3 Points
9th: - 2 Points
10th: - 1 Point

Fastest Lap – 1 Point

I will open a crew-only lobby from 7PM GMT to gather racers who have signed up AND 'liked' (therefore read and agreed to the rules) the first post of the Sign-Up and Info Sheet. There will also be a party portal (GCCC - Racing Championship) open via PSN. In addition I have created a PSN Community for the event which I highly recommend you ALL join (I will be sending invites to everyone who has already expressed an interest in participating). Not only will you easily be able to join other participants from this screen, but it will also contain at-a-glance information on the races and restrictions for each weeks event all from the convenience and comfort of your PS4.

As with all GCCC events, normal crew rules apply in the pre-lobby and I would appreciate if everyone is at least able to hear the in-game chat so they they can hear any instructions I give regarding the next race or manner of hosting as this will ensure minimal delays between each race hosted individually.

I don't think GTA for respawn will be necessary for the tier B muscles. I expect plenty of people have the Phoenix, Gaunlet, Sabre and Stallion.

All of the cool ones have a faster counterpart within the class. I wouldn't get both of them. That being said, I do own both 9Fs

Yeah, if the tracks have pit-lane functionality then they'll be run in GTA-mode, but not all of the tracks have this unfortunately.

can I suggest a stipulation that people like this and each weeks post to agree that they've seen cars allowed

pavement/kerb boosting

I agree that it shouldn't be allowed except if you've got no 1 around you then it wont make a difference doing it, I was continually looking to see where people were behind me the other night and took advantage of it when I wasn't gonna affect anyone else.

though I only kerb boost myself not pavement boost as you only need to skip 1 side onto the kerb to get it and more times you do it the more boost you get so the people that continually drive on the pavement are not actually getting any boost except when they drive onto the pavement and then when they drive off.

if anyone decides to pavement boost and they get someone come along side them from behind before a corner going in opposite direction then they should have to give way to them rather than cutting back in front of them thinking they have right of way. (if someone that close then they shouldn't be doing it anyway.

overall though the main thing is not to do it with any one around or close, and shouldn't be done close to light poles either, again the only time I kerb boost is on clear kerbs and don't even go close to poles anyway.
