atheistsw, you sure you want to put Cruelest Intentions in before testing it yourself? It's a rough mountain race, and I have plenty if other new races that could be a better fit. It's up to you of course, I just think having a go at it yourself will give you better judgement on putting it in racewars.

Ah, so you replaced a tough as nails Kalahari mountain race with a difficult fast paced, break neck motorcycle  track where there's no margin for error. Damn ath, you're evil.

My first Racewars woop. A very high standard of tracks, and even the contact playlist didn't work out as bad as I feared. I had quite a lot of clean battles, in-fact only JJ's lag was a unmoveable obstacle. The main problem with the contact playlist was when there was a major incident early on which ended up blocking the track so involving everyone (I know we like sharing in the crew but just keep off the track when you've crashed instead of blindly going back on track causing the same set of problems for everyone else).

issues prevented me joining earlier even though I got online for the 1st race of the 2nd playlist Joined in time to see Banana smoothie and this looked right up my street. Well trodden route but the mix of compacts and the bridge sets it apart from the rest. Bookmarked so will see if it drives as good as it looked. 

Reviews of the rest

The Racing Line: Voodoo by Zorvaine Good example of the racing line genre with the route suiting the Voodoo nicely. The description, overlooked by seemingly the vast majority is up to Zorvaine's usual high standard and the bridge in this is great. The log piles so soon after it caused quite a few issues, particularly as they aren't smooth enough to grind along slightly. Would suggest moving them back slightly and/ or stopping the roof earlier to improve visibility at the end of the bridge as atm it's a blind tight corner. 

{BH} - Compact GP - by BH_TB Got my vote. Nice route, well lit and suited to both the class and the default night time. I picked the Panto and struggled to keep it going in a straight line, particularly going over the medians but still managed to place the highest of the Panto's. Rhapsody's dominated this one clearly dealing with the bumps better. The only minor issue is the last(?) bridge piece isn't perfectly smooth so knocks the Panto off line slightly. 

XERO GAS RACEWAY 2015 by MattSka98. Morning default and light coloured fences weren't a good mix for most round here. CP 6 needs to go as it leaves no time to prepare for the hairpin CP 7. The rest of the CPs were fine imo but I couldn't quite get into this one somehow. I don't think picking the Blade helped as it is so unresponsive turning around the airport section. 

Little Seoul Searchíng by rodo77 My first taste of 20+ player contact racing. Ah this isn't so bad Lot's of clean racing with the odd major crash. The main route is quite simple but the route choice options are exemplary, particularly in contact racing for spacing out players for, what would otherwise be, tight sections. 

Contact!!!!!! by jcast39 Nicely laid out track, if you can find a way to "edit out" y2jayjay's lag I'll like it even more   Lot's of huge crashes broke up the flow massively and I kept on getting on the back of JJ's magical car which finds a way of defending both the inside and outside line at the same time Just couldn't get a move done as I was only marginally faster, if at all, but too nervous of causing yet more issues for everyone if I braved a move. As far as the track goes it's got a good flow. I couldn't quite understand the position of CP 3, it's clear you're turning left here but there's something that bugs me about a CP hidden after the corner. 

Grassline Grand Prix by Frezyys The Stirling is fantastic! Woop got the fastest lap by around a second (which given how far off the fastest lap I was elsewhere is proof of just how much this track and car suits my driving style). Nice wide zig zag start that prevented too many issues early on with the hairpins providing great opportunities to get the overtakes done. I liked everything about this one and thought it suited contact racing the best out of the contact list, wide roads but still ample opportunity provided in heavy breaking zones for overtakes. Default could be sports classics maybe (just for me  )?

Pegasus 115 Raceway by kidovey Nice simple track. Had problems round here as everyone had their lights on which meant it was impossible to see when players were breaking = inevitable crashing. The tight CP 5 chicane was very difficult to get right in contact and on the first few laps I invariably ran into everyone else having problems here. The last barrier on the inside of CP 6 makes the turn feel that bit more precise than seems ideal for contact racing. CP 10 to 11 caught me out on every lap, doh. With the great flow elsewhere this relatively tight turn just comes out of nowhere and I think either CP 10 needs to be 3 chevrons or some outside props need to be used here. 

Bridge The Gap IV theicide Wrong playlist for this imho (ath said it himself). Entertaining with constant position changes but not really pure racing as there's a few turns after crests which drivers will only learn after a few laps of this one. One way to mark these better could be to set the CP just before the crest (even it that means stupidly early CPs) so drivers are aware that the breaking zone is earlier than they might normally expect. I also think Coupes (or something with softer suspension than sports at any rate) would work better round here. Busy technical route that I'm sure I'd enjoy more in non-contact second time round. 

Overall

Great event. Looked forward to catching some Racewars and, although dubious about 20+ player contact racing thoroughly enjoyed both lists I managed to catch. The races were fantastic quality and my reviews are really just nit-picking at the tiniest flaws in near perfection. Credits to atheistsw  and all the creators

3 In to 1 does not go. I should have given WTR more space to let him re-join the track - then we would not have collided i think. Was a good crash though. Then i nearly took out Mandible_Claw- when rejoining the track.

Midnight Club V by atheistsw

A great challenging race for super cars. Lots of high speed technical corners that require precision in order to speed through. I was able to hold 7th in a Turismo R and compete with the T20's and Osiris' but messed up on one of the corners on lap two. A great race worthy of bookmarking and playing again.

Hard & Slippery by barfy86

A great and simple track for muscle cars with an ingenious fork in the route with the jump over the train tracks on the left and the ordinary path on the left.

Banana smoothie by JojjeOkocha

Hmm, the route on this track looks familiar, where have I played it before? Anyways, this track features a perfectly crafted, smooth as sanded wood bridge made from the grey construction barriers. I heard that it was made on the ps3 creator? If it is, then I tip my hat to the creator of this one. Great for compact cars.

The Racing Line: Voodoo by Zorvaine

This race features another created bridge made from the wooden gates. It's crafted perfectly, but the exit out of this section is what loses my vote. What the hell are you thinking with those dynamic log piles on the next corner? They can easily ruin the race should you crash into them as they have jagged edges that strut out of them. I understand that you more than likely used up all of your normal props on making the bridge, but there are better props to use than those. If not then even having no props there could be better, the exit out of the bridge is really blind. Other than that, this was a fine race but those log piles need to go.

I don't know what everyones opinions is on armour on cars or whats been proved but I have full armour (and off road tyres) on all my vehichles and don't have any problem being up front all the time and winning races. the problem I find with having no armour is that your cars will damage quicker, so to me it works out better in long run to have 100% meaning less respawns
