It's been a few days since the event and the races are not fresh in my mind, so just some some quick and general feedback this week, but thanks to everyone who attended including the guests from Red Rum Racing who helped create full lobbies for PL2 and 3! Also an epic car meet of Japanese Tuners with many funny moments and some doubtlessly awesome photos to follow!

Used my Sultan and did pretty well, finishing 6th, looks like the Elegy RH8 is the car to beat around here, some tight dirt corners and a few expanses of open road make this a real gem.

Oldie but a goodie, challenging corners and a car that's not the easiest to keep on the straight and narrow, I was happy with a 3rd place finish.

With no custom compact with my 2nd character I struggled in a stock Blista, especially on the uphill sections where a lack of power really showed. Still, was doing okay until I hit a garden plant pot jutting out from the side of the road and then lost acres of time getting back onto the road, ending up finishing 11th.
The Racing Line - Feltzer by grandmasterhoot - socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/B44wBUiL9E63nysPeUIU9g
Another classic TRL, this was the forward-facing variation and it's a great match for the fast but squirelly handling of the Feltzer. Love the final corner that can gain you a second or so if you get it nice and tight and ended up with a 4th place finish.

Wasn't paying attention and left this on Standard which meant my Brawler got pummeled on turn 1. :-( Managed to make up some ground but the contact wasn't doing anyone any favours and 7th was my final reward. Kudos to Bonigtbvc and BlueDecember06 who got 5th and 6th respectively using Hotrod Blazers!
Three Piece Turn 3.18 by Mandible_Claw- - socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/3_CMaWhk2UaovzbAsGITGg
Love the flow of this one, super-fast sections punctuated by some tricky hairpin turns, this one was very competitively fought and produced some great racing moments, I was in my unfamiliar T20 and finished 8th. One tip for naming though mandiblelaw157, remove the 3.18 (or other lengths you've used on other races) as it's really unnecessary IMHO.

Used my Kuruma in this compact and tricky track in the quarry. Lots of hairpins and some deadly cliff edges meant this was a race where it was better to be slow than sorry and I managed a 10th place finish which I thought was impressive (for a Kuruma) until I saw jimbob-STROUD had earned 2nd (and best lap) in the same car!
Two-Wheeled Vindication by Y2J_2264 - socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/ix9f0fkZOEamFtg2HBRu1A
Great motorcycle route that combined some fast, open roads with some truly terrifying hairpins and narrow, technical sections. Perfectly suited to the agile Akuma, I made too close an acquaintance with a wall and a lamp-post on each lap but still managed 4th overall.

Nicely propped, compact route for slower vehicles (we used 'Coupes') through some of the airport parking lots. Bizarrely one of the placed parking booths came loose and proceeded to cause utter havoc at one section of the track, thankfully a few kindly backmarkers volunteered to forfeit their race to move it out of the way of those in front! Despite being right at the front of the pack for most of the race I ended up with a disappointing 5th place finish, not helped by the fact that y2jayjay0853 took advantage of a corner cut on every lap! Please fix this part jose!

A very nice GP-style track through a familiar part of town, this was fun with 'Sports' and almost everyone used a racecar, I don't remember why but after a good first lap I suddenly started dropping back a bit and saw some spectacular flips courtesy of poles along the way! 10th was an underwhelming outcome for me.
Classic Vinewood by NittyDon - socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/bq-W8HIHH06t7iNO_6hWGg
Works superbly well in a multitude of classes, however as I was committed to finishing the event with my 2nd character I only had the Casco to choose from and it provided me with misery that set the tone for the remainder of the playlist.
I Own This City by cuz05 - socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/zGl84W6WXE-Cj6PSkp6K7g
Excellent popping for this race that we ran in 'Sedans'. I used my Intruder but thanks to some extensive straight line sections I struggled to keep up with the OP Schafters and ended up 13th (the highest placed non-Schafter mind you!). The track is very enjoyable and perfect for slower classes of vehicles.

Really liked the use of trees on this one, although in a couple of instances their massive branches obscured the checkpoint arrows ahead. Ran it using 'Muscle' class and had another nightmare using my Sabre Turbo, including missing the checkpoint for the right-hander at the brow of the hill that's on the far left (due to the pit-lane?). Not sure if additional propping needed on this section to make it clearer where the checkpoint is from BOTH routes?

Ah, the poles, they're EVERYWHERE! This race became a veritable pole-fest right from the word go and meant racing was hugely frustrating. There's seems to be an over-abundant use of the small red and white barriers with little regard given to protecting even the most vulnerable of lamp-posts. (I understand this was due to coach_wargo trying to avoid the pesky spawned park cars issue that has since been fixed by , will be interested to see the revised edition.)

A technical race that is well propped (although tyre barriers on the inside of corners is eeeevil!) and has a great flow throughout. We ran this in 'Coupes' although it works for faster classes as well. It just wasn't my day though as after a strong start I made a couple of mistakes and finished 8th in my Zion.
