A Race Against Time

A weekly time-trial event that will showcase a mixed 5 race playlist designed to push you to your lap-record-chasing limits. Not only will you have to battle yourself, constantly trying to beat your own time, but you're up against some of the very best GCCC racers from across the planet, who will be hard at work trying to knock you off the top spot before the competition closes.

A new playlist will be posted every Monday and you will have until midnight on Saturday to submit your video laptimes. This gives racers 5 full days to practice, practice, practice and get to know the tracks inside out before the Final on Sunday. This gives you a chance to showcase your times and see if all that hard work pays off in a live event against your crew mates.

This event is aiming to involve as many people from around the world as possible - no matter the timezone - so not only is there a weekly video competition, but there's also two chances to participate in the live event:




The event should take around 60 minutes to complete the playlist, with a crew lobby open between 30-60 minutes before hand, keeping it relatively short and hopefully helping fit into the busy lives everyone has offline. 

Running alongside the event is a video submission competition for your very best lap times throughout the week leading up to the event on Sunday. 

You choose if you want to participate in one or both competitions.

And most importantly, at a time that suits you.

Monday: Playlist is published

Saturday: Video submission window closes at 11:59pm (gmt)

Sunday: Live event final

•Outright winner combining both video and final playlist event standings.

Playlist rules:
----------------
•There will be 5 races per playlist involving 1 or more races from either Stunt, Pure, Air, Sea, and Point to Point.
•Customs will be turned off and the race set to non-contact.
•During the live playlist event the laps will be set to 5.

•YouTube/twitch video submissions.
•Links to be posted on video submissions thread on website
•No customs used during video submission
•Unlimited submissions during time frame
•Submission time frame from Monday until Saturday night at 11pm (gmt)

•Name of the race or races in the video
•Laptime for each race in the video
•Link to video submission
