Creator Q&A

i have a question about starting grids on uneven ground.  I'm trying to make a medium 30 player starting grid on the wide section of road right next to the Sisyphus theater just north of the city in vinewood hills.  If you look at the road there.  it appears to be pretty even, though on a grade.  I would like to make a 5 wide 30 player medium start grid there.  there is clearly enough room there.  but the creator keeps insisting the ground is uneven.  I can easily do a small grid.  I made a small grid, tested and saved.  then switched to a medium grid.  which allows to me to put all medium vehicles in a small grid.  I then picked up the grid and placed it back down.  this switched the grid to a medium grid that I wanted.  Race details show 30 players.  But when i count the vehicles, there is only 24 cars in the grid.  the back 6 don't show up in the grid.  Now my question is.  If I have 30 players, will the back 6 players be able to spawn?  Curious if anybody else has done this and been able have 30 players when the grid shows less cars.  or if there is a better suggestion on what I should do.

I have a question for the broken creator on PS3. If I want to create a half loop in a race, is my only solution to build it completely, save it, keep the last ramp, rebuild the half loop, save it, keep the before last and so on, or is there something I'm missing?

No problem man, much respect to you last gen guys for still creating, I made a few during the breakage for us, such a hassle, but yea, you can still do it all, just takes wayyyy more time and patience

Do you join other people's jobs @ferguson99? The "maths" only works if for every job you host you join at least one other job of someone else's. A creator crew works best when you join someone's job then they repay the favour by joining one of yours. A 4 job playlist made up all of your own jobs is always going to be hard to get people into as people like variety and have their own jobs they want to host. That's why GCCC events were made in the first place, rather than sitting around waiting for someone to join your job everyone gets a chance to submit a job and see how their job works with other like minded creators eager to give feedback.

Anyone can host a GCCC event and they have a much better chance of getting people to join as they're advertised well in advance, come with crew messages telling people to join and give a chance to all creators to get their jobs played. Just find a free spot, something you like playing and get organising it!

Maybe just too long a playlist then. I don't join playlists outside of events as I usually just want to play 2 or 3 jobs then go off creating. I always used struggle to get invites accepted too which is why I get involved with the events, either sending things in or hosting them. Best way to get a decent lobby size to test jobs and, more importantly, play other people's jobs.

How do I get planes to crash in my jobs? I've put them in the air using containers but when the fall there isn't a scratch on them.

dillono, loftonian has been playing around with this in captures lately - he made Extreme Hill Challenge #1 and EHC #2 where these vehicles continuously fall out the air - they respawn because they ultimately fall into water and are destroyed, if they don't blow up beforehand. I think the reason they move from up there, is because he put actors on wander in the highest vehicles, so they will move and start falling taking everything below with them.

What hell is that contraption?
