The usual laid-back rerun with Danner and friends gave us a great mix of new creations to try in this weeks RDW. And as usual it's hard to nail down just 5 out of 20 but here's my take...

1)FMTB 14 TRAKTOR by UPFADER - Just a fun Hot Wheels Track style pure race course. Very fast, fun and gave me big stoner grins indeed, will be replaying this in different classes.

2)P40 - Changes (PS4) by P-Forty - A solid stunt course using the LS river basin, my only hang-up was the approach to the second stunt at a funky angle...

3)K-[PS4] Stunts Trip 2 by Kalabantesh - I really like the layout of this fun there and back stunt course that uses the roads around the power plant very well...

4)NTC* Dragon Skin TSL by Nothical - A stunt race that highlights a spectacular wall ride, appealing to the eye and very fast and fun to race. 

5)[׬Tg]''Madness'' by X-TERMIgamer - This crazy auto-stunt can be a bit tricky but oh so satisfying when you fly over the rooftops and nail that landing at the corner....

Thanks again for CCC_010 and Danner 1620 for Hosting and compiling this weeks offerings. Crewbies you never fail to entertain and amuse, keep on creating.... 

Before getting into the reviews I want to comment on some of the voices and attitudes heard in the main lobby yesterday:

There were several moments yesterday where I was embarrased to hear some of the remarks made about certain races and creators by some fellow crew members. It's absolutely natural to get frustrated and even rage in races. It happens to most of us and these are genuine emotions.
It's a completely different matter however to shit-talk certain creations and their creators! It's condescending and doesn't stand for what we are about as a community! It's a shamefull and an arrogant attitude and has absolutely NO PLACE in a crew event!
Please keep in mind that your view might be completely emotionally biased and pre determined from the get go, so keep any condescending remarks to yourself please!

xtg Madness
Fun high speed track leading up to a very well designed stunt. Works perfect every time when not playing in full lobbies. No steering required as dummyproofing lines you up perfectly. If you miss the last dummyproof container line und subsequently exit the last jump at full speed you overshoot the final jump


TSL 4 Real Cash 2
Fun high speed track and nice concept of the stunt. Have also played this in other playlists and smaller lobbies and the second flip mostly fails me resulting in my car hitting the next wall with my roof and not the wheels. I don't see the purpose of the barge which is sank into the ground at the landing zone. A barge is much more likely to brick your car on landing than asphalt. Glitching the first checkpoint in immediate proximity of the starting grid caused half the lobby to miss that checkpoint as it didn't register resulting in half the lobby having to drive back to get it. Absolutely no point in having it there.

Straight up bike wallride Cambo style


A painters road
High speed pure race featuring your favoite corners. Pefectly placed checkpoints and a very nice flow.


FL56 Explosive Walls
Nice design. Love the multiple wallride entry possibilties to avoid pile ups and bottlenecks as the race on Contact. A bit overkill with 30 players though as spawn killing will occur. When testing this in a smaller group I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Definate keeper for the bookmarks!


MS Kaleidoscope
Contrary to some voices in the lobby I did enjoy this one. All the stunts worked well. The angle of approach to the barge spiral is a bit counter intuitive/sharp but so are a lot of other spirals It just requires a bit more skill to hit these spirals clean. The fruit stand in the middle of the road east of the golf course needs to go. People will intuitively want to pass the fruit stand from the left which will result in missing the checkpoint.
Don't let anybody get you down. You are new to creating and you will continiously improve as you gather experience! I enjoyed the race


NS Downtown Disco
Smooth barge template which worked well. Jumping through the barge loop and the barge spirals gave the creation a nice twist and finishing touch. The checkpoints need serious adjusting though. Either they are placed behind corners which renders them invisible approaching the turns or they are placed much to early before the corners making it unclear where to turn. Driving this for the first time you are forced to navigate your way through the whole race using the minimap. Tip: Place your checkpoints just before a corner! A checkpoint should be visible when approaching a turn. If it is placed just before a corner it will be visible to everybody and it will register for people no matter what racing line they choose. Look at Zombie's race "A Painters Road" as an example. Perfect checkpoint placement there.


P40 Changes
Absolute banger! Nice entry getting on the wall and dummyproofed all the way through. The (triple?) fanny flip works great and lines you up perfectly with the landing barge every time. Very impressive. A quick transition to the next flip to wallride... works like a charm and flip rotation is again perfectly synced to landing in the sewers again. Then a quick jump takes you out the sewers onto the street again, making you want to get back to the sewers quickly to do the stunts again.

Only remark would be what Doc already noted: The first time playing the race you expect to continue racing in the sewers and quickly overlook the jump onto the streets. Why not borrow some fruit stands from the other locations and block the sewer off visualy directing players towards the jump...


Strawberry Milkshake
Contact in Stock Pantos on the narrow desert streets with 30 players Had some major pile ups but very fun all the way through. Enjoyed it and had some great emotions and laughs coming from the crowd.


Politics
Another solid Halconian creation with his signature damn wallride location. Built very smooth and feels great when you catch your flow and blaze through it. Several people complained about the grasshill obstructing the line between wallride entry and the damn on the east side of the wallride and suggested building the wallride higher at that spot... This would cause another problem though as people would then be too high on the wall and approach the damn at an angle coming top to bottom, which would inevitably lead to failure on the damn wallride.


A2 Zancudo Eight
Finally a chance to get that dusty custom coupe out the garage again. Almost totally forgot how it feels driving those. Great track, nice turns, good propping and a great flow!


Blackout
Great design of the barge spiral/loop thingy. worked great and ran very smooth. definately the most advanced barge spiral construction in this event as it didn't use a standard template which is built in 5 minutes following a youtube tutorial but was a mix up of different designs with perfect transitions! Nice high speed track around the stunt.

Banana Smoothie
I slipped on the bananas and fell. My car hurt after that...
Nah, seriously, great use of the area and nice layout of the track. Very fun to drive. A lot going on on Contact with 30 players which made it very challenging

FMTB Traktor
I love the feeling when gliding over those barges. Feels like you're sucked into them. Very fun! Two parts of the track where you can overshoot coming in at full speed going straight, but once you know the track, all butter. Great race

Echo Park Raceway
Tight GP race with lots of sharp turns, which made it quite challenging. Great use of the area and also very fun to play one of those on non contact again after we had several on Contact that night.


KPS4 Stunts Trip 2
Awesome what these barges enable us to do! Very fun creation. Probably the best race I've ever seen using the cave location. Absolutely loved it and has a tremendeous replay value for me!
Remark: the water machines blocking the pole always get knocked down by people driving into them. When passing the same location shortly after at the cross section they're scattered on the ground blocking the road.


Night at the Galileo
Solid track through a great and challenging area. Great propping at the right sections rounded this one off creating a unique atmosphere. Great race by one of the best racers I know in this game.


NTC Dragon Skin
Perfect example of a TSL. Great short high speed track with one major stunt in it. Nice shape/design of the wallride. On ramp works great at alternating speeds either coming full speed or from the respawn. Easy to stay on the wall due to its concave shape and a very smooth exit leading back up the highway.
I'm guessing we can expect a reverse dragon skin wallride next?

Rollercoaster Skyfall
Wow! Amazing quadruple, quintuple, sextuple downwards flip covering a MASSIVE vertical distance while landing smooth on the barges every single time even in a full lobby. The second flip denied me on my first attempt due to large lobby issues. Contrary to some voices the arial checkpoint is lined up perfectly when exiting the last barge platform straight and contrary to some voices I think it makes perfect sense for it to be arial. If it were on the ground there would be no sense in even attempting the stunt. You could just fall off the barges at the beginning of the race and drive to the checkpoint. Absolutely mind blowing stunt! Doing it BIG!

Again hard to choose and place in order, liked other races on individual efforts but had to choose on what I enjoyed the most and wow'd me.

Really like to add how impressive the free fall stunt transition in roller coaster Skyfall was, didn't work for me in the event (usual large lobby issues) but did work every time in smaller groups since.
