Winners Wednesday March 2016

Raceday Wednesday has 4 winners each week. Those 4 winners will enter WINNERS WEDNEDAY at the end of the month to compete against the winning races of the other Raceday Wednesdays of the respective month.

Rules:

As these races have all won a previous event already it would be redundant to list all of the rules again. Here are some of the most important ones again:

- The host may not change any settings except for turning catchup and slipstream off, so make sure your default settings are optimal for your race
- No owned weapons in GTA races! Only use the rocket and speed boost pick ups!
– No party chat; please use game chat only as this is a closed crew event!

Raceday Wednesday Format:

2 playlists containing all the winning races of that respective month. These races will be hosted by CCC_010 at 20:00 GMT and 9 pm EST (02:00 am GMT) by Danner1620 for US time zone folks. Being active and joining the session will give you bonus points towards the voting system (see below).

Raceday Wednesday Voting Policy

ALL VOTES WILL BE MADE ON THIS SITE. They will be made on that particular weeks topic. Each member will get 4 votes.
Every attendee votes for their top 4 picks, regardless of which playlists these are in (so if your favorite 4 races were all in playlist nr. 2, you can vote for all of those 4 races).

Votes will be counted as follows:

1st pick = 8 Points

2nd pick = 6 Points

3rd pick = 4 Points

4th pick = 2 Points

(As a non event attendee your votes will only count 50%)

You MAY vote for your own job, but honesty is highly encouraged. Having an objective view may be hard when you are emotionally invested but please be fair and treat your race as if it were a creation of somebody else!
Also I recommend writing a short review/remark about your top 4 pics, especially if you’re voting for your own race to get first place…

Votes WILL be visible for all to see on the weekly topic. Please include your PSN id if it differs from your name on here. You can also run Raceday Wednesday by yourself with your GCCC friends or others during the week and place your vote on the weekly topic. Just bookmark the playlist and off you go. Your votes will be considered as a non event attendee but still always worth being active in the crew.

Voting closes at 13:00 GMT each Tuesday!

The winners will be crowned Tuesday evening!

Deff my fav race of this WW, 2 great spirals connected by a flip that works every time for me (full lobby blues being nothing to do with creators). Plus enough props left over to ensure the course isn't littered with poles, excellent job.

2) C20 Cambonized Minds V2 by Cambo20
Bringing Bikes in to the wallride business, I don't really do many bike races these days at all, it's not my area. Yet I have several of these bookmarked :0/ Deff deserves votes

3) K-[PS4] Under G Ride by Kalabantesh
Trying to move templates around in that horrible view ruins my brain, yet this is so smooth and really fun, how many cool races are made in the tunnels... yeah.

4) °K24-{Lumberjack STUNT}° by Kaffeefilter_24
Love a good TSL and this ones great. Nice natural wall, quick flow, it's all good yo!

(1) Hookah International by lancerevowrc - Slightly biased winner perhaps based on my pure racing background, but this is a fine, fine example of a contact-suitable and gorgeously created circuit race that is great fun in ANY vehicle class, with tremendous propping and a brilliant flow throughout. One of the best pure races I've played in a while.

(2) EXTREME-STUNTS SWANTON by MysticBroly - I always enjoy these oldskool throwback coasters from MysticBroly that yanks my elderly Entity out of it's retirement home for a last hurrah and this one is one of his best, a pitch-perfect coaster that turns the car inside out before a final big-air launch back to ground level. Makes the art of constructing these time-consuming coasters look easy this guy...

(3) ${}$ Gorgonite $cum by HALC_187 - Had an absolutely torrid time with this one in the RDW U.S. re-run, with the damn vertical spiral spinning me out every single fricking time in my Zentorno with it only playing ball with seconds left of the DNF counter... however, I did play this hours earlier in GCCC's Got Talent 11 and found myself in the surprising position of coaching players to be able to finish a stunt race, as with the 16 in a lobby it took a full 20 minutes for EIGHT players to complete 3 laps and I managed to finish 4th with a final time of 7 minutes, with laps 2 and 3 nigh-on perfect!

Anyway, I don't quite understand why it's so random as to how the car behaves on the stunt itself, only

knows the answer to this mystery but I will say that I LOVED the concept of riding on the inside walls of the tunnel so, so much and on my 2nd lap at least, when I enjoyed a perfect run, it was quite magnificent!

(4) K-[PS4] Under G Ride by KALABANTESH - My final vote goes to this one for sheer originality and the absolutely painstaking amount of time it must've taken to get those templates in so inch-perfectly underground, the concept of transferring off the subway tunnels to a wallride was expertly realised and this was a super fun and super-fast race experience, with the only slight negative being how tight and narrow the hairpins were at either end meaning that getting into a good, continuous flow was extremely tricky. Still, points for sheer creativity and perseverance to make this a reality!

1. Extreme Stunts Swanton
Purely amazing rollercoaster race. Brings back the feeling of some classic, old era coasters but still stands out in the new era line-up. Everything is right within and around this exhilarating stunt. Amazing job.

2. Hookah International
I have a good viewpoint on any race style because of the mix that I generally play, I've always said that a good enough pure race can take it to the best stunts and this is exactly what this has done. The attention to detail on propping the circuit is just amazing, it flows, its fast paced, its just an all round great race for anyone.

3. Gorganite Scum
Even though I love mega, extreme stunts, I like more simple ones like this. This is just well made and I like it. The use of the tunnel and the precise-ness of the wall transition going straight on to another then to a spiral. This shows some great initiative and great prop work. If only the Osiris could do the tunnel.

4. Pressure Turn
By far the hardest choice I've had to make here with the amazing line-up on display. This race is very well made. From the location, giving wide open space to that flip which put the icing on the cake. Another great race, such a shame I only get 4 votes.
