themap21: Guys I couldnt help but notice, that in the creator, when you go through your jobs it says 30 players, but when you go into that job, the max players is changed to 27

themap21: Side note, this only appears to affect races

redsocks38: can you still vote for the nest hardest stunts ? if yes how ?

hanuman01: themap21 It seems to be affecting different creators/races differently. For me if I open a track in creator it changes to 27 players, but it lets me remake the start grid and put it back to 30 players.

rzasman: #Cybi39 best of 2017,tonight 8 pm winner gets a $25 value shark card loads of amazing fun jobs

ManOfFire: Yeah, it's annoying when you've just fixed and tested your parkour and then notice the number of players has been reduced.

austindecker: It's been a great while since I played with the creator so maybe one of you guys can help me. I had a saved race that was never finished. I loaded it up and it said the job had invalid data and needed to be rebuilt but everything was still there.
Jan 17, 2018 17:03:47 GMT
austindecker: So I finished it and when trying to load it up online with my friends it said the same thing and kicked us back to free mode?
Jan 17, 2018 17:04:19 GMT
Tesseractor: You have the start trigger near water maybe, try moving the start trigger well onto dry land or another location to see if it helps, that fixed one of my jobs but it's a guess
Jan 17, 2018 23:06:14 GMT
ManOfFire: Yeah, all triggers at sea level and some random locations make the job invalid and it has to be remade. You edit a copy of the job and have to move the trigger. Best to delete all CPs too.

NoDo has had some problems playing together. So I had the idea of making an event for clean contact racing and, depending on the track, GTA with pitlane. The races featured could be either Kart, Rallycross, GP or any type of serious races (without jumps or any kind of stunts). The event would be open for anyone to submit and play, making sure the players race clean (e.g. if two players crash, the responsible for the crash would have to wait for the person that was made crash). It would be, however, hard for me to host the event as I don't have much time avaiable at night.

I had another idea for an event. Players would create jobs criticising, roasting and/or parodying a certain creator/stereotype by means of irony and/or exaggeration. Such could be expressed on the title, description and style of creating. Eg.:
Description: 999999999$ AND 999999999RP!!!!!!! OMG GLITCH MON€¥ PRESS L1 AT THE END OF THE JOB TO PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND GET BANNED FROM GTA ONLINE AFTER A WEEK!!!!!!!!
It could also be criticising me and how I bitch about poles a lot.
ive done some thing like that, The story of Rzasman, 3 races with typical rzasman things, aldo hes no creator i tried to use his choices of cars and hes driving style.
Make a bit more clear tread and explain in long words what you mean and how you picture it. i know from experiences with the roast and relay that ideas can be interpetated wrong very easely ( i understanded the post after reading 3 times, and still not sure xD)
As a frequent watched of GTAmen, I know he makes the submitters specify what kind of aim they think is best on the submitted job. So I thought we could, perhaps make the same with events such as "Battle Zone", "Clash of Teams" or any event that features job types that require killing (DMs, Captures, etc.). This would be proven as useful when there's bikes, sniping spots that are a little too close to the rest of the map, or jobs made purposely for free aim (edit: maybe in other cases, of course).
Contact racing - it'd be nice if this worked but lag plays such a huge part on PS3 in particular. It can work though, I used to host (followed by treen) a weekly Rallycross event which was off-road contact racing for 6 players. With so few lag played a much smaller role and anyone who did lag was politely told to leave. I think small lobbies and harsh hosting (be it your only allowed to join if your connection speed is above 10mbps say, or if people complain about your lag/ driving your out pretty quick). Personally I think it's do-able on PS3 with smaller lobbies.
We've said before that we'd like to work with NODO with this kind of thing, maybe a sign-up style event once a month. A NODO / GCCC cross-crew event was the original thinking behind rummeltje's "Hour of Horsepower" but things stalled on our end and I didn't get the impression the interest was there in NODO either. 2 lobbies of 8 max, sign-up only, must join PSN chat, complain to host if someone isn't racing clean > 3 complaints = out would be the way I'd do it with threads both on these forums and NODOs. Should be do-able every other week.
Free-aim - the free-aim community on next-gen is quite small, I dread to think what the PS3 free-aim community is like (non-existent at a guess). People who play in auto-aim do get scared off it too as it's very tricky to get the hang of. A few months in and lot of playing with the settings has really only got me to holding my own against all but the experts (but when everyone's as terrible as each other it's quite fun). A one-off edition of "Battle Zone" in free-aim could be quite fun with the right jobs (bike jousting and other free-aim style maps) if Whiteknight774 was feeling brave? The problem is I know some Battle Zones are already struggling attendence wise - free-aim is only going to cut the numbers more for that week.
That's my take on things anyway, I think we'd be highly supportive of the contact racing idea with NODO as it'd give us new players to share our tracks with, race some of NODOs and NODO (+ us) get to race clean regularly. Win, Win. Of course anyone from NODO is welcome to join the non-contact events but I believe that's not really enjoyed over there?
