themap21: Guys I couldnt help but notice, that in the creator, when you go through your jobs it says 30 players, but when you go into that job, the max players is changed to 27
Jan 15, 2018 2:34:38 GMT
themap21: Side note, this only appears to affect races
Jan 15, 2018 2:52:50 GMT
redsocks38: can you still vote for the nest hardest stunts ? if yes how ?
Jan 15, 2018 5:32:44 GMT
hanuman01: themap21 It seems to be affecting different creators/races differently. For me if I open a track in creator it changes to 27 players, but it lets me remake the start grid and put it back to 30 players.

rzasman: #Cybi39 best of 2017,tonight 8 pm winner gets a $25 value shark card loads of amazing fun jobs

ManOfFire: Yeah, it's annoying when you've just fixed and tested your parkour and then notice the number of players has been reduced.
Jan 16, 2018 10:50:30 GMT
austindecker: It's been a great while since I played with the creator so maybe one of you guys can help me. I had a saved race that was never finished. I loaded it up and it said the job had invalid data and needed to be rebuilt but everything was still there.
Jan 17, 2018 17:03:47 GMT
austindecker: So I finished it and when trying to load it up online with my friends it said the same thing and kicked us back to free mode?
Jan 17, 2018 17:04:19 GMT
Tesseractor: You have the start trigger near water maybe, try moving the start trigger well onto dry land or another location to see if it helps, that fixed one of my jobs but it's a guess
Jan 17, 2018 23:06:14 GMT
ManOfFire: Yeah, all triggers at sea level and some random locations make the job invalid and it has to be remade. You edit a copy of the job and have to move the trigger. Best to delete all CPs too.

I wil explain all three of them and for the NO. 1 & 3 i will put a race/playlist below. For the NO.2 i will draw something out.
Los Santos GP:
Very simple, Small tracks between 0.68 and 1.4 Miles-ish. no weird stuff, small jumps are aloud. key is fast corners narrow corners chicanes, think about spa francochamps or something. The idea is that we got 16 races all around LS with 16 people, make it a bit endurance while with short laps so it could be fun to do 16x16x16 16 racesx16playersx16laps ore something. the races are most likely on supers so you get fast pace racing
For the pure racing exp i like to do it on contact but lot of you guys seem not to like that.
For the people who dont know what a relay race is. its that weird race where people run with a stick and then pass the stick to another fellah who's gonna run with the same stick. BUT THEN GTA STYLE. What means: Flexit makes a LAP Race. Then BlueInk for example makes a P2P Race with the start of the P2P at the start/finnish of Flexits Lap race, then raszman comes around, he makes a LAP race with the start finnsh at the Finnish of BlueInk his P2P and so on. here a map with to visualize it
This is a long desired race evening for me personal, when I started creating i was really liked to make eightracks. realy simple short tracks with a cross over jump or no jump. its derby so it should be contact for the pure crash exp.
Your thoughts on this idea from a fellow Representative of GCCC!
I personally like the idea of Eighttrack Derby as it's something different we really havent experienced in GTA Online. I know some don't like contact racing, I like it but if it is just CONTACT racing and no sticky bombs, mines etc. I'm happy with it.
These sounds possible for one-off / monthly events, I especially like the relay race idea (I won't vote though as I won't be attending). A few years ago SACHMATA made a great Halloween event where DMs and captures were joined together by races so the idea works (and with Halloween coming up maybe this is something worth trying again?)
One thing to bare in mind is we do says only as many of your tracks as any other creators and make sure you check out our in depth hosting guideFlexit so you know what you're letting yourself in for. Ideally you'd need a lieutenant (or above) co-host to help & make sure the 1st few events run smoothly.
Hey Flexit three great idea's there, which is a shame because I wanted to vote for "ur drunk go home", like that, lol.
My favourite idea would be (2) relay race, but would take some planning to get right, i think u would need to set the start/finish points for each route yourself, then we pick which one we want to make, effectively sign up but also get a given route to make for event.
1) I think if we got 16 players,to do 16 races, with 16 laps, we would not have 16players for long. 3) I like these as the 50/50 cross over crashes are fun, but a full event of them? Sorry not for me.
A mix of the 2, in my opinion could be more suitable for all, what I picked up from your idea's is that u want a contact event, so mixing some short pure tracks with the 8tracks, could keep the fun in crashes rather then wanting it to end.
Maybe is me that's drunk and needs to go home, lol. But my vote is for 2 or a mix of 1&3
tnx MRNICE im still considering options like that, i would like to have the crews opinion offcourse, so we can make a nice event of it. I like your idea for the relay race with planning the starts but i would like it to be a co op creator, for example. I start with a lap race and post it down here, you pick it up and says i do the next one and you take a drive on my lap race so you know where to start and then make a P2P post it down here, next one up does the same but then with a lap race so on so on, till we got 4-8-12 or 16 tracks for a evening.
The idea of the 16x16x16 dropped dead after last night playlist ii started noticing that 10/15 miles is the max for a fun race ( equals 7/12 laps) so thats of, but i noticed a lot of GP races from other members so a one time LS GP could be fairly guick and easy i guess.
for the eightrack, i know what you mean with to much of the same, so we could go for a crossover with something else like 8track/crashrace and then a clean bike race or something like that. But thats why i starte dthis, to get your guys opinions and make a hack of a race event
hey guys, last week some of us talked about a playlist this sunday to show off some of my tracks, i didnt had time last few days due to some emergency arrants (<< wrong grammer?) how ever i have 4 playlists ready for tests. (how much laps/contact/non contact/ suitable)
If you guys would like to join tonight would really love that!
I like the relay idea a lot! So heres my two cents!
I saw mrniice made an example playlist after this idea. I suppose if you play all races of the list in current daytime and current weather that would give you corresponding daytimes and weather through all races in the list.?
This could either be an event where startpoints and finishpoints are determined beforehand and a list put up here on the forum. Creator X can pick one stage, reserve it on the forum. and build it.
Or someone posts an already made p2p race. And whoever has a race with a start at the same location as the finish of the first race, can submit theirs as a second race. Once 8 races are submitted we have an event.
I like the idea of point to point only and the whole list being one big lap. So start of first race is the same location as the finish of the last race. But also, Point-to-point is a unique and difficult discipline for creator and racer. The racer gets only one chance at every obstacle or corner. In a laprace you get several chances to learn the corners or obstacles. The creator has to prop and cp every corner just right so the racer will make it first time around.
I think I saw a jetski race in mrnice's miniature photos. Will we be doing land-sea-air?
These would be nice playlists for players to pick up and play way after the event too. Unfortunately we have a limited amount of playlists we can save. One of the many stupendous limitations layed upon us by the little dictators at . Its a shame we have to delete playlists to make room for new ones. Other players hardly use their playlist quota. Has anyone ever thought of making a playlist sharing system? So players with no playlists of their own, save playlists for other players that have run out of quota. Maybe worth its own thread?
Good luck on putting this together Flexit! Als je wat nodig hebt geef je maar een gil.
Geenopa I like your thoughts. What aspect of the relay what I really like is the co op creating. We can make a relay playlist for one evening splitted in 2/3/4 playlists and ad the end merge them in to one big one so people can play it. If we would do a relay evening once every 2 weeks or so then only 26 members had to save 1 playlist... that aint much and out of 800+ members... I kinda like te p2p only. Im not really fond air and water races. But could be a nice accet to the game to make it bit less the same.
My proposal: lets get 8 players for the first round, each one ,2 p2p races. We start with submitting your self to the playlist. You wil get a number 1 to 8. After that I put on a list with the number 1 to 8 in a random order twice. And never the same players around each other, exp: 2-5-1-8-6-3-7-4-6-2-4-7-1-3-5-8
We could go for 8 races then we would only 1 race/creator
I will also give a start place, to make it more difficult for the first one.
Also the current weather and current time. We are gonna do that great idea.
I guess its gonna be on a friday. I will plan it tomorrow and make a tread to submit to.
And who really would like to help me with this? Since im not in power to host these events on my own!
We've got you covered Flexit. If you want it to be an event for which we create new p2p races you are going to have to determine all start and finish points beforehand. I will gladly help with that. Look forward to seeing your official event thread!
